This is in no way to be considered a resort and I would never stay here again. Staying at this hotel ruined my trip to Pompano Beach. Was way overcharged for the quality of the stay. Half the room was renovated with the bathroom and entry way showing heavy signs of wear and not being maintained. The shower knobs were about to fall off. The mini ironing board and mini fridge looked like they came out early 2000's dorm room. Completely inadequate for a hotel stay. The only option for parking here is to have your vehicle valet parked for about $25 per day. I felt like my car was held hostage so it limited my mobility while in town and I was rushed by the valets. If you have a balcony, like I did, there is a blinding blue light that comes on at night. I had to put a towel over it just to see. The room was not quiet. There was noise bleed from the surrounding rooms. I felt like I was sharing the room with strangers as I could hear all their conversations crystal clear. Pool was out of service – Management never advised of this prior to my arrival. I asked the receptionist how long it would be out of service for and he advised a few days. I was given an option of using the pool of another hotel over a mile down the road, which is absurd. Upon arrival to the hotel, they take an additional hold of at least $50 on your credit card for "incidentals". Don't expect to get this money back. The took the cost for parking along with an undisclosed daily resort fee of $21 from it. After this horrible stay, I attempted to contact the hotel manager Raymond. It took me over five calls over the span of four days to finally get in contact. He was not helpful and refused to offer any assistance for the horrible experience I had. My stay at the hotel left me feeling exhausted, overcharged, stressed out, and neglected by management. Lesson learned, I will never be staying here again.
