It is a place where you can have a comfortable rest during your trip. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also quite good. It is located close to the entrance to the Pompeii Amphitheater, and the whole family was able to relax and be satisfied. It's small, the surroundings are quiet, and it's slightly turned away from the main road, so you can return home comfortably in the evening. If I come back to Pompeii, I will stay here again.

Friendly, comfortable and close to Pompeii. The added bonus was that breakfast was included and was good. It was a little cramped with everyone at breakfast at once, but the value was great and everyone made it work, so I would recommend as a good place to stay.

Great location, walkable from the train station (Santuario) and close to the Pompei ruins and town centre. The owners are really helpful and friendly. It’s also a great price. The room is clean, the aircon works and we had a balcony with a great view. There isn’t somewhere there so when you arrive you do need to call but the owner is only a few minutes away. Our stay also included breakfast which was good.

This is my second time at Amphitheatrum Gate. I keep coming here because I get all I expect from an accommodation and it is not expensive. This time I had a room with a balcony from which I could see Mount Vesuvius. The room is spacious and clean - the same I can say about the bathroom and the shower pressure is excellent (I mention this because many British hotels struggle with sufficient water pressure in showers). I had a little fridge which was convenient. The property is very close to one of the gates to the Pompeii excavation site (5 minutes walk) and in walkable distance to restaurants (5 minutes), the public bus to Vesuvius (5 min), the town centre (10-15 minutes) and the train station (15 min) that links you with Naples and other towns on the Circumvesuvianum-service. Send a message over the *******-link to arrange the time for the check-in so you will meet the owner - he is punctual. --- As the last time three years ago I was very happy and I will definitely be back next time I visit Pompeii.

The service was amazing, the room was fine ( air conditioning and balcony), the price reasonable, the breakfast fine, location to Pompeii ruins great. I would not hesitate to stay here again! There is no elevator but Alphonso carried our bags up and down, he drove us to the ruins site, picked us up and took us to the train station with our luggage and would not accept payment. His charm made this simple hotel a delight to stay in.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti, situato in posizione ottima x visitare sia gli scavi che la basilica. Struttura molto pulita e le camere con bagno ampie e comode. La colazione ottima con brioche eccellenti di varia tipologia. Il proprietario è una persona gentile e simpaticissima disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Parcheggio all'interno del cortile. Soggiorno graditissimo ci torneremo.

La posizione dell’alloggio si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dall’accesso agli scavi, in Piazza Porta Marina Inferiore. L’edificio esterno e l’ingresso non si presentano molto bene, le camere si trovano al secondo piano senza ascensore. La stanza invece era grande, così come il bagno, pulita e in ordine. Direi rinnovata non da molto. L’unica pecca senza un armadio, ma con una struttura di appenderia a muro, a vista . In bagno solo sapone liquido per le mani, nessun shampoo e bagnoschiuma di cortesia. La qualità del sonno è buona sia per il materasso che per i cuscini. Non c’è insonorizzazione alcuna, quindi sente tutto e si dorme se i vicini di camera non fanno rumore…. La posizione è a 10 minuti a piedi dall’accesso agli scavi. Il proprietario è di una gentilezza e disponibilità squisite. Un ospite perfetto. A colazione, brioche e pastiera napoletana. Ottime.

Camere in affitto a poche decine di metri dall'ingresso Anfiteatro degli scavi. Tra i punti di forza, oltre alla posizione, un parcheggio auto, il costo adeguato all'offerta, la pulizia, la cortesia e disponibilità dell'ospite. Il luogo è silenzioso. Da rinnovare un po nel bagno e in alcune suppellettili. L'edificio è privo di ascensore.
