My fiancé Stephen and I come back time after time to the very perfect Illa D’or to dine out on the terrace. The staff are exceptional and you certainly will not want for a thing because they have got it covered. The food is a culinary experience and simply food heaven and the location to match. A special thanks to Jonathan and his lovely colleagues who looked after us last night, you are all a credit to the Illa D’or and you all are the reason we keep coming back. Thank you Beth & Stephen

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. Every single thing about it is excellent. The location, the rooms, the facilities, the food. It is all wonderful. I am not sure that it could bettered n any way. If you want a special venue with a touch of class then the hotel is for you.

This was the third time that my wife and I have stayed at the Ila D'or and it certainly won't be our last! The location is fabulous and is probably the best in Peurto Pollensa. All of the staff are warm and friendly and nothing is to much trouble, Wagner on reception was extremely helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The food is delicious, especially breakfast were the choice is exceptional. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday this is the place to be.

Just returned from our 3rd visit to the Illa d'Or. The hotel room was lovely and staff very friendly. However, the food was a big disappoin**ent. A chicken with curry sauce had no flavour at all. The tiramasu was a bowl of cream with coffee powder on the top. The French onion soup, was a bowl of clear liquid with onion pieces. We swapped a couple of dinners for lunch and ate in local restaurants that were far superior. We did tell the staff at the time that the food was not very good, but it was just shrugged off.

Lovely hotel and a great restaurant. Our waitresses Noelia and Irene ensured we had a fantastic meal with careful and professional service. The Seaford paella is particularly recommended. The hotel as a whole is superb and the location fantastic.

This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at both for the location and the overall beauty of the hotel. Plus nothing is too much for the staff who always greet you with a friendly smile. We booked a classic room to begin with not realising it didn’t have a balcony but then upgraded to a more superior room with side view of sea from balcony. It’s just perfect. Not sure why someone complained about the lack of air con. It’s only early May and start of our week was cool anyway! Even on recent hot days the hotel and room we have, 220, has a lovely airy feel about it. I have never gone back to the same hotel twice but this is our second time here and there will definitely be a third. On talking to others staying here I see this is also the case as everyone is in awe how beautiful it is and how amazing the food is. There is a different a la Carte menu every evening and food is delicious and beautifully presented. Well done Illa D’or!!!!!!!!!

Another excellent stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, nestling on the bay of Pollensa with a very pleasant walk, along the Pine Walk, into the town. The staff are exceptional. Very welcoming friendly and efficient. Our every need, and there were quite a few, was accommodated. Room is quite small but works well with a huge balcony with fabulous sea view. We were half board which is easier for us and very good value for money. Breakfast sitting on the Terrace is superb. The pool area is beautiful though I didn’t go in this time as still rather chilly. Sea was okay though. There is entertainment on some evenings, flamenco, classical Spanish guitar and a couple of singers. A very pleasant start to the evening. We chartered the beautiful yacht, Isabel Maria, for a family birthday trip out which was perfect. I suspect we will return again soon!

The weather wasn’t perfect, but the hotel was. Food was great. Wine extremely good value. Facilities excellent. Room very comfortable, with great views. Staff very accommodating, especially the wonderful Monica who keeps the restaurant running like a Swiss watch.
