Wunderschöne ruhige Lage direkt am Meer, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick sind gross und sehr komfortabel, herrliche Matratzen und grosses Bad. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat alles was das Herz begehrt, stets frisch, immer schön angerichtet und in guter Qualität. Auch im Restaurant haben wir à la carte sehr gut gegessen.

We’ve just had a wonderful week at Hotel Illa Dor. Wonderful staff who go above and beyond to help you and make your stay special. Clean, very comfortable and in a beautiful part of Mallorca. We were bed and breakfast and breakfast was super. We did have the occasional lunch and food was excellent.

A lovely hotel, which is beautifully situated on the waters edge. It has excellent facilities and fantastic food!! It is blessed with lovely staff, who are always there to look after you. We have been going back twice a year for many years. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Just back from another wonderful break here and although the hotel has its history, like everything, time moves on and they do this really well with latest addition being the refurbished restaurant (no more knocking your head on the lamps when you get up by the windows…) it’s been completely updated and now has a stylish contemporary feel with a wonderful selection of breakfast treats to start your day, the lounge area is also a very relaxing area to pass time (yes they have a huge TV for sports fans too) It’s also great to see some of the extremely well presented staff regulars still working there, far too many to mention, but Wagner on reception along with Albert serving drinks, oh there’s also Frank who does the boat trips. We’ve done the sea view balcony rooms with day bed at the front of the hotel and if you only going to visit once it’s worth the extra booking one of these, but we’ve also done the standard room with balcony and they are perfectly adequate as you’ll still get a glimpse of the sea and save considerably. We didn’t have great weather for a few days whilst there it was very windy so we made use of the apartment gardens & pool at the rear of the hotel which are very well kept and out of the wind. **** Hotels - This won’t prevent me returning though. Should have USB charging points in rooms & around the hotel. Fresh water supplied daily in rooms, not just on your 1st day.

Hotel was clean and staff were very nice however they had turned off the air conditioning (despite not indicating this on their website) so the room was extremely stuffy, breakfast area the same. After discussion with management we were given a fan (to circulate the stale air). Made much worse as the bathroom extractor fan also didn’t work (which they aggressively denied although if you held a piece of tissue up against the fan it fell immediately to the floor). All in all not a great experience and management were very unresponsive. If they don’t run their air con that should be made clear on their website and at time of booking - had I known I would not have booked the hotel.

The Ila d'Or was excellent in every respect. The staff were welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The room was well furnished and everything worked well. We were on the 4th floor (408) and the view over the bay was magnificent. NB The lift works well. The food was, likewise, excellent - the breakfast choice was huge. Dinner was also very good with a different menu each day - there is an attractive vegetarian menu but you have to ask for it. Look on the cold table for the cheesecake - I preferred it to the menu desserts (they were fine but I like cheesecake!). The bar by the water is a splendid spot for a quiet drink in the evening. The Hotel is about half a mile from the main town along a flat shaded walk by the water. All in all an excellent experience. There is entertainment but it is fairly low key although of excellent quality. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing holiday.

We visited the hotel Easter 2023 with family and couldn't wait to go back, so we returned for Easter, again with family, 6 adults and 5 children, and all had a marvellous time. The location is wonderful, food fantastic and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. We were greeted by the lovely Santi who helped us on arrival, I don't think we ever saw him without a smile on his face and always happy to help in any way he could. We can't wait to return, in fact we're very jealous of our daughter who is visiting again with her family during school holidays at the end of May.

Another delightful stay at this excellent hotel. Enjoyed a 6 night break. It is a very pleasant, relaxing location. The hotel is outstanding; everything is very good quality and the friendly, efficient service is exceptional. Meal quality is very high; excellent choices in the extensive breakfast buffet and dinner options are extensive. I'm happy to recommend and certainly intend returning again to the hotel.

A truly exceptional family holiday at the hotel Illa dor. The hotel location was perfect, staff went out of their way to assist making this a memorable stay including local tours and boat trip. Highly recommended and we will return.
