Port Douglas Outrigger Holiday Apartments

Great location and it was nice and clean. Amanda and Peter were great and assisted us when we needed it the most, extremely helpful. Thank you for making our first trip to Port Douglas such a memorable and enjoyable time, we loved it.

Perfectly placed. Great place to stay Enjoyed a very relaxing and comfortable week at Outrigger. Perfectly placed with an easy walk to town, beach and harbour it is still in a very quiet area. Amanda and Peter were great in helping us know where to go and booking tours through them was easy and handled professionally. They advised us when we’re good and bad times for certain tours and the best providers to use. Our apartment was great. Spacious, very clean and great amenities. Everything you need. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. They also run a community fridge where people leave all sorts of commodities like sauces and oils that are unfinished and save you buying. Great book library to.. We will definitely be back.

A week in Port Douglas The Outrigger was a great location to stay in Port Douglas. Only 5 minutes' walk to the central shopping center and the marina. The rooms were clean and spacious plus it was not too big so it remained quiet. The pool was at a good temperature - not too hot or cold and clean. The managers were a great source of information and very friendly. We had a great time the only downer was the weather was not all that perfect but we cannot blame the Outrigger for that!!

Our family has just returned from yet another relaxing a 2 week stay at the Outrigger. It is perfectly located in a lovely quiet location, yet is less than a 10 minute walk to Four Mile Beach, the Marina and to Macrossan St. It goes without saying that Port Douglas is a great place to base yourself when heading out to explore the Daintree and Atherton Tablelands. The whole complex, as usual, was well maintained and our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, bright, clean & very well equipped. There was a full size kitchen and bathroom (including a washer). There is also under cover parking available for guests. The Outrigger is a must stay location for families visiting Port. Our hosts, Peter and Amanda, were extremely friendly and welcoming and gave excellent advice on local attractions & on what was happening around town. Of course, they assisted in organising our transfers to and from Cairns which is a big plus for us. Like ourselves, it is no surprise to find that many of the guests are regulars, who return time and time again. This is a true testament of how well Peter and Amanda look after their guests, their attention to detail and how well they look after the Outrigger, it's grounds and facilities overall. We cannot thank them enough! It goes without saying that when next up in Port, we’ll again, be staying at the Outrigger. A real home away from home.

First time in Port Douglas and the Outrigger was an excellent place to stay to experience this fabulous destination. Stayed for 1 week and Amanda and Peter are friendly and welcoming hosts. The unit we stayed in was clean and well equipped. Clean pool and only 5 minutes walking to main street of cafes and amenities. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Port Douglas
