The room facilities are old, there are many mosquitoes, the hygiene is poor, the lights in front of the room are not on, it is very inconvenient to go out at night, the front desk service is not up to par, there is no drinking water in the room, only tap water, and the network signal is also poor!!! The deposit was deducted without informing me, and I checked out, but the deposit has not been received for 5 days!!!

This place is so beautiful that I don’t want to leave. I think we might extend our trip out for another week because we are having such an amazing time here. I would highly recommend this place as a wonderful vacation spot. It is so very handy to get to from, the airport that it only took us about 15 minutes and also so very close to town just two minute boat ride away

I’m not one to write reviews but having seen first hand what an amazing job the management and staff are doing at Iririki and the negative review someone just posted, I just had to step forward. This place is amazing. The managers are wonderful and the staff are amazing. And the people of Vanuatu are just beautiful. Iririki team members go out of their way to make you feel at home and have been so kind to us. So yes, put Iririki at the TOP of your Vanuatu list. And maybe even the top of your list for the Pacific.

We had a package deal which included some food & drinks to a certain value as well as accommodation. The bungalow that we had was very comfortable, the meals were great & a comparable price to mainland restaurants. The local staff are all very friendly and eager to help with any queries. Our room was vey close to the main pool & restaurant and it’s easy to walk around the island to check out the rest of the facilities. March was still quite warm & a bit rainy, so definitely not the busiest season. The complimentary ferry to the mainland was always available. My only COMPLAINT was that we paid in cash at reception for them to arrange a pick up go to the airport for a morning flight. When the transfer did not arrive we were lucky to pay a local bus driver to take us instead, as it was a Sunday. I have been in constant email contact with a staff member but never received the promised refund. My advice ‘Pay by card then you can at least dispute the transaction’. This lack of communication has left a bitter taste is what was otherwise a lovely break away.

After experiencing a total black out at 7:30 pm with no way of reaching reception, we took the long walk (mostly in the dark) to the office. They told us that the staff was done for the day (at 5 pm) and there was no way the problem could be fixed. We were very upset and were shifted from the desk staff to the owner. He said: "If you raise your voice I will kick you off the island!" No show of empathy or any concern for our plight -- indeed he shifted the blame from the hotel to us. We were in disbelief, even horrified. They offered moving our room in the dark. We wondered why there was not a person on call for these crises. We went to dinner expecting to move rooms upon our return. Lo and behold an IT person was found. The problem was fixed. My poor review is based on the owner's behavior. We learned later that many other guests and locals have troubling stories about their behavior as well. The staff was lovely and cooperative. This is a management issue. Advice: Do do put this resort at the top of your list when considering a trip to beautiful Vanuatu.

Our family time at Iririki Resort was one of the most special times we have had together reconnecting as a family. Their wonderful family friendly activities run every day were fun and adventurous. There was always ample food to start the day at the delicious buffet. The snorkeling together was really beautiful too. And the apar**ents right next to the pool made it super easy for the kids to be having a swim while we had a drink in the balcony. The staff are just totally wonderful with kids too. Oh they have a great kids club too when you need a bit of kid free couple time.
