Very good, the location is very good, very close to the station, the room has a retro feel, and there is a live band. I really spent two unforgettable days. I will come again if I have the opportunity.

Superb location, literally two minutes walk from Trinidade metro station which is direct from airport (5.10 euros for two people) metro run approx every 20 minutes ,couldn’t be easier! Hotel is absolutely fabulous,very welcoming,professional,friendly and ALL staff are helpful without exception,all are a credit to The Saboria . Our room was ground floor and looked out onto the gardens,it was immaculate, large and tastefully decorated. We had welcome complimentary treats that were an absolute bonus. Breakfast has a good varied selection,to suit all and was delicious. We couldn’t recommend highly enough and hope to return in the very near future.

Really mixed stay. It has a very subtle frontage that we missed a number of times. The place smells divine and the breakfast is very good. We had a duplex room which had lots of space except in the bathroom which was tiny. The kitchen was also poorly equipped. the spiral staircase was very narrow and a nightmare. There was no draw space in the bedroom which is upstairs from the bathroom. Though we had a garden view, there was nowhere for us to sit out. Pool is small and its position means it can be commandeered by a small number of guests. Very convenient for the metro.

Amazing hotel. If you're thinking of booking go for it. Everything from the room to the grounds to the breakfast was fantastic. We especially loved the made to order hotel breakfast which had some of the best homemade granola we've ever had. We had always planned to stay in two hotels in Porto and when we left Saboaria we wished we hadn't moved! The room was so spacious - three of us stayed in the room with large bath - and it was a huge! It had a beautiful terrace stretching the length of the hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel enough and desperate to come back!

6 of us travelled to Porto and stayed at this beautiful Hotel in July 2024. We had three room for the three couples; two garden facing rooms and one much larger suite style room. All three rooms were gorgeous but especially the suite style room which was the biggest and most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. The rooms were tastefully decorated, had all the amenities necessary and were kept lovely and clean by the hard working housekeepers. The location is perfect to explore all of Porto and we never had any problems with noise from other rooms. The pool is a great asset and is kept clean with fresh towels made available regularly. Overall, this was perfect for our stay and we would highly recommend.

What a special place! The entrance isnt that great but once inside the decor, rooms everything is just very tasteful and beautiful. Lots of thoughtful attention to small details. The staff- extremely helpful and went out of the way to ensure that we were comfortable. I fell ill during my stay, and thanks to the lovely team for taking care and being there!

It was one of our best hotel in Europe in the last 15 years. the room was great calming and clean with a beautiful decoration. The hotel staff was super friendly an very enjoyable to talk and the location very close to the balboa market and a short distance to the Sao bento train station. Would recommend the hotle to friends,

Just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay. Small, boutique hotel in a great location. Our room was a great size, bed was so comfy & fantastic shower. We had a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden & pool area. Staff all lovely & helpful with recommendations. Plenty of wee cafes/restaurants nearby. A few wee changes needed to meet our 5 star expectations. Our balcony seating needs renewed due to tears & mould. The hotel would benefit from a bar & restaurant for guests to enjoy. Only shampoo in shower area. Conditioner would be a good addition. The room has a small hob however no pots in the room. We had no plans on cooking so didn’t affect us. An iron & ironing board in each room would also be good rather than asking reception. Despite these, we had a lovely stay in a beautiful hotel.
