The hotel is clean, trendy, comfortable, and very well-located. Some rooms are better than others. This was my third stay at the hotel. Despite the numerous hotels available in Porto, I chose to stay here again because of the great suite I had during my first and second visits. I booked this stay five months in advance, requesting the same room as my first time. To my surprise, the room wasn't the same and wasn't as good. What was great during my first stay has become average. The room was clean but not as comfortable, spacious, or well-decorated as my previous one. When I inquired at the front desk, they explained that the requested room wasn't available. It's hard to believe that someone requested the same room more than 5 months ago. This lack of attention to customer loyalty is disappointing. I visit Porto frequently and may return, but I will likely explore other equally good hotels in the area. Also, their (only option) vegan breakfast is not good, with very slow service and subpar food. As a carnivore, I believe they missed an opportunity to demonstrate how delicious vegan food can be. If they are going to offer such a food restriction to their customers, they should do it well, which unfortunately they did not. It was memorable, but not in a good way.
