"I arrived with my husband for his special birthday. We found the customer service at reception excellent, staff always there with a smile and helpful in telling us where to go to see special places in Porto . Just a slight slow service at breakfast and not very clear with the hot breakfast menu board stated more than that was actually available. The room was always cleaned and smelled nice while we were out. I think a more comfortable arm chair would be more suited in the bedrooms though . The place itself was lovely and a great location near all the amenities. Traffic noise is expected since it's a busy road but once the double doors are shut at night , the noise is not an issue ."

"While the hotel room was nice and the breakfast was good, there are some massive safety concerns especially for female travellers. We stayed here and were abused and threatened by a male guest in the room next door to us and were given no support by the hotel who basically told us we should lock ourselves in our room. One female receptionist who had no support from her management on dealing with this. We had to move hotels in the middle of the night for our own safety"

"I read a review saying that this hotel doesn't know what service is. I didn't believe it at first, but now I finally understand: 1. They gave me the smallest room first, which didn't match the pictures, but I found that the bathtub was full of cockroaches, no less than 5, which scared me to death. I called to change the room, and they gave me the one opposite the elevator. I also tolerated it, but then I found that the carpet was full of food residues, so I called the waiter to clean it, but she only cleaned the area I pointed out, and didn't clean other areas. I was replying to messages and forgot to call her. As a result, I found small flying insects on the head of the bed the next day, and I was scared again, but I still tolerated it. 2. There were two small bottles of mineral water when I first checked in, but they were gone the next day. I asked the front desk for them, and they told me that they would only have them on the first day of my stay, and asked me to pay 5 euros. I argued, and she said that they also had to spend money to buy them, and I could go to the supermarket to buy them myself, ****. I said I would call the manager at the time, but she reluctantly gave it to me. There was still no water on the third day, and I begged for it for a long time before giving it to me. 3. Don't be fooled. SPA is charged separately and only included in a few high-end rooms. I was so angry that Ctrip didn't specify it. If I had known, I would not have chosen this hotel. It is simply a fraud. 4. When I checked out, I asked for an invoice, but they didn't give it to me and told me to ask Ctrip to get it. 5. The hotel is far from the scenic spot, and the road is very tiring to climb up and down. 6. The breakfast is average. 7. It takes a lot of effort to open and close the window."
