5-Star Hotels in Porto

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town. The building itself, according to the hotel's description, dates back to the 16th century. It's truly a unique experience to stay in such a historically rich setting while enjoying modern minimalist decor, especially given its superb location in the old town's core. What particularly stood out was the hotel's pool, which directly overlooks Porto Cathedral – an absolutely unforgettable sight.

Everyone at the hotel was very kind to us. The location is also very convenient for sightseeing, and everything is within walking distance. They explain the location on a map at the beginning, which makes it very easy to understand. Also, although we weren't able to get a reservation this time, there is a restaurant called Blind, which has an unusual concept and I think it is a space where you can experience something out of the ordinary. Almost all of the rooms are suites, and the space is very stylish and lovely.

Impeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google.

Fantastic central location - couldn't have asked for better. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were brilliant - friendly faces and efficient with everything we asked for. What really makes this place special though is the building itself. It's stunning with gorgeous architectural details. The interior design is elegant without being stuffy. All in all, a real gem that ticks all the boxes for comfort, service and style.

Hotel-centric to Lero bookstore, Louis I Bridge, Porto Main Church, the most beautiful McDonald's is very convenient, the hotel service is high-quality, the facilities and hardware are also very good! Is a comfortable and historic hotel

Hidden within an old building, the hotel has its own unique charm. The service was quite good; on the day we checked in, they gifted us a bottle of Porto red wine. Since we only wanted a small taste, we returned the whole bottle and exchanged it for half a glass to try. All the local attractions are very concentrated, so it's quite convenient to get to all the sights from the hotel.

The pros and cons of this hotel are particularly outstanding. The advantage is that the service is very good. I arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m. I wanted to put my luggage away and go out for fun, but I didn't expect that I could check in at that time. The disadvantage is that the castle-renovated hotel is a bit cold. It's more than ten degrees outside, so it's comfortable to turn on the air conditioner in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel. The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal. Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is ideally located near both residential and commercial areas, offering a good balance of quiet and lively surroundings. As a branded hotel, the service is consistently high-quality, and the rooms maintain a comfortable and elegant design throughout. While the restaurant has limited food options, the bar is a pleasant spot to relax. It would be even better if there were a swimming pool.

Quiet location and away from tourist areas. The breakfast is acceptable. Services are fine.
