This place is so relaxing to stay in! It’s a super nice little cafe with the rooms in the back through locking doors for easy access and security. The service is mostly seen outside your room as there isn’t much to be serviced inside, either way they were very friendly and helpful with menus in different languages and all that. The facilities for our room were all you needed, our “bunks” being cubby’s in the wall with lots of space and a locking compartment below for bags or valuables. The bathroom is tight compared to what I was used to in Canada, but it has your toilet, sink, and shower. What more do you need? Lastly the food was very very good, this was our first stay on our trip from Canada so maybe it’s normal here but it is so fresh and simply tasted awesome! Highly recommend!

Room is dirty, sleeping cave are disaster, no safety measurement . Danger to go up n come down. How the authorities approved the Beds. Highly not recommend. Thank you Regards

When we arrived we did the paperwork and payment quickly, then we saw the room, we stayed in a room with bunk beds, a double bed, very decent and clean. Since we were going to do tourism, we asked at the hostel itself for places to see, they very kindly told us where we could go and gave us a map. That night we also asked where we could go out for drinks and were told several options. We didn't get to eat anything there, but everything looked very good. 100% recommended

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this property. The management is irresponsible and only cares about money, not customers. I had an emergency in Israel when my flight was canceled. I spoke to the staff and wanted to cancel my booking. At first, someone nice promised it would be free, but when I sent the request, a manager said it wasn’t possible. I called again and was rejected. I ended up losing the full amount of money.

Nothing not to love about this little oasis in the city ❤️ - every single staff member just so kind and welcoming without being at all intrusive - gorgeous airy dorms - there was a street-facing balcony and private bathroom in mine - big shady garden cafe with a lovely menu including great vegan and vegetarian options and AMAZING in-house lemonade - best music choices I've heard in a long time - The Cure, Beatles, Patti Smith etc - playing softly all day - *really* good free wifi - Metro stop and launderette at the doorstep I'm autistic and never felt the need to say that because the atmosphere was always so inclusive and gentle. My short stay felt like a retreat 😊

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The common areas were pleasant. The food was very good. The location was very close to the metro and convenient for walking. Porto is a lovely city but during August there are many tourists.

I booked a private room that was on the top floor, as if it were the loft of the bar/cafeteria. The ceiling was sloping over the bed so you could hit your head and only go down on one side. The room is small and the suitcase can only be opened above the bed. There is no table or chair to support things, the private bathroom has been renovated to new and impeccable cleanliness. Positive point: there are many plugs and a perfect silence to rest. It is only accessed by stairs. The staff was great and the food in the cafeteria/bar downstairs was perfect. If you just want to spend a few nights and rest well and spend a lot of time in the room, it is not cheap but it is a good option.

Terrible... It doesn't correspond to reality. It was so bad that I preferred to lose the money for the reservation and come and sleep at the house that was 200 km away, I don't recommend it. Imagine sleeping with younger children who were my children and someone else came into the room saying they were also going to sleep there... If it was a pedophile? Unacceptable and total lack of security. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy
