I had a great stay in apar**ent 1A. It is on the first floor so carrying luggage was a non-issue. The building complex is historical so there is no lift. For a studio it is quite large, even by American standards. Definitely larger than a European hotel room. The couch and bed are so comfortable. It was convenient to have a kitchen for tea and simple breakfast items. The food provided was amazing, which is funny to comment on about granola, yogurt, eggs, and jam. The location can’t be beat. Steps away from Rue de Flores, and just a few stores away from a delicious bakery, Though restaurants by our bakeries and desserts are all just a few steps away. There’s a self-serve laundromat a few minutes away, and it is nice to come back to the apar**ent to chill out while that was running. There is construction across the street, but it is during business hours. It did not bother me, though. It is just city noise. There is a artisanal store that is also run by the owners on the street level, which was great to buy souvenirs to take home. Alisa and Catia are such wonderful and kind people. They checked up on me and when they found out I had food poisoning sent me bread, butter and tea and offered to go to the pharmacy if I needed. If I go to Porto again, I would definitely stay here again.
