Lovely hotel in super location. Room was smallish, with a nice bed. Typical breakfast for 4 star in Portugal. It is on a pedestrian street, which is nice, but makes getting in a bit more difficult. We really did expect a bigger room based on the Pestana website, so a bit disappointed. Helpful staff

The Pestana on Rua das Flores is exceptionally well placed for sight seeing and restaurants. It's a boutique Hotel on very busy pedestrian Street. There is never a dull moment on Rua das Flores, it did however feel quite high end and safe. The Superior Plus room was beautifully decorated and modern but very small and cramped, the bathroom was good. We stayed for five nights and could have done with more space. The bed, while quite firm was good sized, probably too big for the room. I had to walk sideways between the Bed and wall to get to the bathroom! There was only space for one bedside locker and one chair between the two of us.! Spending any waking time in the room was quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was an average continental style buffet with limited hot food, nothing made to order. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the very convenient location.

This was a 10-night stay in my hometown. The hotel was lovely but I would not classify it as a 4 star for the following reasons: Lack of comfort in room for 2 people. Dark, very poor lighting, very tight closet space, no washcloths even when requested, no towel racks to hang towels you wish to dry. It was truly uncomfortable. The staff attendant offered my daughter and I a larger room for the same price and we agreed. They kindly helped us move our stuff to settle in but not something I would want to have to do after an international flight from the US to Lisbon and then a private transfer to the hotel after having already spent 2 nights. Also the larger more spacious room had an even smaller hanging closet space. Please keep in mind that it is a pedestrian street please be aware that taxi cabs and Ubers are not allowed therefore you will need to walk a block or so away to be picked up. My private transfer car was permitted. This should be classified a 3 Star Hotel. The upside to this hotel is that it is walking distance to everything downtown, very centrally located.

Perfect location and a great hotel, complemented with excellent staff. Breakfast was great and the beds were super comfortable. If I had one suggestion to improve it would be a decent coffee machine in the room (Nespresso style) as the instant offering was a bit of a let down. Highly recommend for a stay in Porto

Superb hotel, excellent location great amenities and lovely staff. It’s on a great street which is pedestrianised with cafes and bars but you can’t hear a sound from outside in your room, big comfortable bed and newly done bathroom. Nice decor throughout the hotel and excellent breakfast.
