Good location. Room is very small. Staff is not friendly. I think there are better hotels in the area.

Great location, next to the bridge and close to downtown.
The room is big and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Downside is hard to figure out the air conditioning control and the room and building is a little bit smelly being a very old building.

We checked in, there was no wait, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great touch that the staff member offered to show us a map of Porto and the key things he would recommend doing in the city.
I can’t stress enough just what an excellent location this hotel is in, no public transport is required. All the key sights are within a short walking distance. It is also very walkable from the train station.
The room was great, with adequate lighting, a huge TV and some excellent shower products. The bed was relatively firm and comfortable.
We enjoyed breakfast for the 3 nights. There had been a miscommunication about the price of this, however, the hotel manager was very helpful in rectifying this via email communication after the stay.
The young female staff member we engaged with for breakfast each morning was also very friendly, warm yet professional.
As IHG Platinum members we decided to try this Hilton property and were not disappointed. It was excellent from start to finish and the prompt reply and rectification from the hotel manager is testament to the care, detail and excellent management of this property. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Porto.

We booked a junior suite and asked to be put on a high floor. However, we got assigned the ground floor room facing the inner courtyard, making the room quite dark. And the lighting inside the room did not help either since most of the lights were directed light. We have asked for a change of room but was told its not available. The room is on the ground floor close to the lobby and the restaurant. When we asked to change the room, I have expressed my concern that it would be noisy and the front desk agent assured me that it would not be the case. Then on New Year's Eve, they have a party in the restaurant with very loud music. And the sound obviously leaked into our room, and the party lasted till the small hours.
The selection of food items at breakfast is quite limited. Its really quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this category. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.

Good room, very nice tv to see the Olympics, creative design of hotel, a very nice service, they explain everything in Porto that is good for a tourist, definitely recommend to all.
