Centrally located, In-Patio was a perfect home base for walking around Porto. The staff was courteous (and helpful with directions and tips for maneuvering the city), and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was sensational.

Top location . In the centre near the cathedral but very quiet ! Nice modern rooms beautifull decoration .Delicious and abundant breakfast . We had some problems to retrieve our rental car and the host was extremely helpful .

Tom and I spent four nights with Olga and Fernando in early April. We loved our stay here for several reasons - the excellent location, the charm of the b & b, the well appointed room, the incredible breakfast but most of all, the warm and wonderful hosts. Their hospitality and guidance made our stay in Porto a delight. We highly recommend InPatio and should we be back in Porto, we would stay here again.

The guest house is in a great location, set in a courtyard back from the road but right in the middle of the action. Great places to eat and drink within a very easy walk, as is the river and public transport. Staff were friendly, check-in was easy (you have to organise the time in advance), breakfast was simple but delicious, and the facilities in the room were perfect.

We stayed at the InPatio Guest House for four nights in April. It was a great place to stay with the north bank of the river just a couple of blocks down the hill, with views across to the Port wine tasting rooms on the south bank. The place is tucked away in the tiniest courtyard I've seen -- there are driveways that are bigger -- but its enough to squeeze in this place as well as a restaurant. Fernando and Olga were amazing hosts: very friendly and eager to make us feel special. They served a slightly different breakfast each morning, highlighting different regions of Portugal. There are only five rooms, so don't expect a big-hotel experience, and book early. It's more like a B&B than a hotel, but that's what we were looking for. The room was well equipped with a comfortable bed, a nice shower, and a safe (always a plus for me). The decor is very modern, so if you are looking for old-world ambiance, this isn't the place. My wife and I loved it.

Beautiful, modern furnishings inside of a historic building tucked away in a quiet corner at Praca do Infante D. Henrique. A 3 minute walk to the Ribeira. Olga and Fernando have done an amazing job with this property keeping the original granite walls while adding the most modern conveniences. The breakfast was carefully curated from local Porto meats and cheeses all presented with love by Olga. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at InPatio was fantastic! The hosts were so helpful and the homemade breakfast of meat, cheese, bread, and fresh squeezed orange juice each morning was incredible. Plus, the location of the guest house was perfect for exploring Porto!

Lovely quiet stay in Porto at InPatio Guest House a couple of minutes from the riverfront. Fernando, Olga, and Jr. were the perfect hosts - great breakfast with local meats and cheeses etc. - large, clean, quiet, and comfortable room. Great location in walking distance from the sites and many restaurants nearby. Heartily recommended!

We just spent 19 days in Portugal and stayed in 7 different inns/ hotels. This was our favorite. The inn is charming and well located for the sights of Porto and Olga and Fernando were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were outstanding and they were very accommodating to our schedule. Additionally the restaurant recommendations they gave us in advance were some of our favorite restaurants of the trip. Don’t think about staying anywhere else.
