Very simple hotel, very familiar. The facilities weren't good but acceptable for the price that s gone. Place to stay overnight and continue the journey. We ended up having dinner at the hotel because of the kindness of the employees as all the restaurants in the village were full.

Close to everything, very comfortable rooms, restaurant with breakfast and dinner, the bartender knew her gin. Helpful staff. The shower worked very nicely, and the bed was comfortable. The stairway was a bit narrow, but manageable. Portree is very busy and very small, so be aware of making dinner reservations if you eat 7:00 or so. We eat early: 5-6, so it was easier to find something. The bakery on the square opens at 9.

Beautiful location, views, and breakfast. Staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. I will absolutely be back.
