An-Airidh Bed & Breakfast Portree

Alex and Alan are the perfect hosts. They make you feel very welcome. Lovely clean and modern rooms with everything you need and stunning views. Very enjoyable breakfast delivered to our room promptly. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

Host makes you feel very welcome and gives great suggestions what to see and where to go and where to eat. Room is great with a wonderful view. Very good breakfast. All in all, everything you wish for when it cocerns a great stay. Thanks a lot and cheers.

Alan and Alex make you feel so comfortable and welcome. The room had everything we needed and our view was beautiful. They shared with us the ins and outs of Skye. We were able to explore places we didn’t even know about! Breakfast was delicious, The best porridge I had in my trip! So accommodating and gracious. Book here!

This was such an amazing place to stay for 3 nights, I wish we stayed longer! The room was very spacious and the bathroom was large as well. Breakfast was always prompt and delicious each morning. The views from the room were the biggest highlight for us with two comfortable chairs facing out to watch the water, we even saw seals! Alan was outstanding as a host! He gave a tour of the room and a run down of stay stay when he met us on arrival, and answered any question we had. He would also see us in the mornings as we were heading out to ask what we had planned for the day and give amazing suggestions on what to see and how to get there etc. Honestly, this was the best part of our trip, Skye was gorgeous and having a place like this to come back to and unwind was amazing. We cannot wait to go back!

An Airidh is difficult to pronounce but one great B&B. The accommodations are fantastic, the location cannot be beat, the view is gorgeous out the windows, and the hospitality from Alan and Alex was very welcoming. We highly recommend staying here during your visit to Skye.

Out of the five places we stayed during our trip to Scotland, An Airidh was by far our favorite (and we stayed at very nice hotels)! From the initial phone call on the day we would arrive to the check-out process, everything was perfect and the personal touch set them above the rest. The views from the window are absolutely stunning and would have been enough, but the room itself was cozy and comfortable as well. It felt like home. The bed was so comfortable! Even though it is a "bed and breakfast," the room has an en suite and its own private entrance which was very nice. The toiletries they provided were some of my favorites from our trip as well. Breakfast was wonderful and plenty of options! The location was also great. We will absolutely stay there again if we get back to Scotland and will recommend it to everyone until then!

Great B&B in a great location, fair price. Very short walking distance to Portree town centre. Parking lot is included. Beautiful large room with an absolutely stunning panorama view. Very comfortable bed and a nice seating area. Large, modern and clean bathroom. Very good breakfast choices, served to the room so one can enjoy a very silent breakfast with the fantastic view. And Alan and Alex are the most welcoming hosts ever seen. Absolutely highly recommendable!!

This is the absolute BEST run bed and breakfast that I've stayed at in all my travels. This was the highlight of our trip to Scotland and can't wait to come back. The hosts were very communicative throughout the entire process including checking on our arrival time so they could greet us in person, which I felt was a great touch. Our room was clean, spacious, and looked like it had been newly remodeled or refreshed. Everything we needed during our stay was there, comfortable bed, fan for the room, refrigerator, nice shower, and AMAZING views of the ocean. You can tell a lot of thought, heart, and soul goes into this place and it shows. We were given an option to select our breakfast menu as well as delivery time. Delivery was right on time and the food was great. Great selection of traditional scottish breakfast items all made to order. The location offered convenient access to Portree with all the ammenities we needed. The hosts were very friendly and I feel like they are now part of the family. Do yourself a favor and stay here during your visit to Isle of Skye. You won't be dissapointed !!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Service was wonderful including a phone call the morning of our arrival to assist with troubleshooting getting to Portree. Our accommodations were fantastic with a wonderful view of the bay. Getting seated at a restaurant or pub in Portree is often unavailable and so it was for us. There is a co op in town open til 11 and so we purchased cheese, bread, wine, prosciutto, olives and had a lovely meal sitting in our room with great view. You see, plates and silverware are provided in the accommodation just for this possibility. We enjoyed this so much that we did it again the second night and didn’t even bother with trying to get into restaurant in Portree. There is a larger co op a short drive away in addition to the walkable co op we used our first night. Another plus of this property is presence of usb ports on the night stands to charge your phone - not present in any other property we’ve stayed in yet in the UK.
