Due to an error in the reservation system, there was no room available upon arrival (despite written confirmation of the reservation number).
As the hotel was full, the front desk arranged another hotel for us. Although the situation is not satisfactory, we thank you for your kind and active support.

Es wird explizit die Bar des Hotels beworben. Aber es gibt keinen Barkeeper. Das macht ein Kellner nebenbei, der wirklich keine Ahnung von Cocktails hat.

Als Nachbar würde man gern öfter im Restaurant des Hauses zum Essen gehen. Das Personal ist nett und bemüht, das Essen passabel. Leider hat das Restaurant die Atmosphäre einer Mensa und die Akustik eines Bahnhof-Wartesaals. Man isst zu zweit für 100 Euro und auf den Laminat-Tisch wird noch nicht mal eine Tischdecke gelegt. Insgesamt dem Ort und den Lobgesängen der Hotelgäste über den schönen Seeblick nicht angemessen. Trost findet man nach dem Essen notfalls in der Whiskybar.

Spent several days here. Very comfortable, spacious room. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice location alongside lake. Pleasant paths for walking. Varied and tasty breakfast - served indoors or on terrace. Good location. Train station just across the street; two stops into downtown Potsdam, half an hour to Berlin Central Station. Supermarket nearby as well as an excellent Italian restaurant, both an easy walk away. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. One shortcoming - no air conditioning.

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Ich würde immer wieder kommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Frühstück ist für jedem was dabei. Wir kommen wieder.

This hotel is in a university area...rooms across street from check in...receptionist was lovely...but we would not stay here again...room vvv basic and you would need a car to stay here...too basic.

Die Erfahrungen postcorona zeigen, dass viele Hotels unter dem starken Fachkräftemangel leiden und vermutlich auch dieses Hotel. Um so angenehmer war es, dass das Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Die Zimmer waren sauber und auch wenn nicht alles auf dem neuesten Stand war, so konnte man dennoch von einem guten Zustand sprechen. Auch das Frühstück war gut.
