A few hockey buddies and myself o od ots , sgostayed at Hotel Josef for 9 days during the 2024 World's for hockey. The hotel is centrally located with 2 very good pubs within 80 m, tw The staff were extremely professional and very polite and engaging. Rooms were wel appointed and immaculate. Great place, stay there

What sets this hotel apart from others in Prague is the location (5-7 minute walk to the old town square) plus the hotel service is wonderful as are their breakfast offerings. Miroslov the Concierge, Maxim behind the coffee bar and Monica at Reception were so kind and generous with their help to both my wife and I. The only caveat is that the rooms are a bit on the small side but all in all, the service makes this a 5 star experience. Great staff, great location, great European breakfast!

Staff were very gracious and hospitable. Location is great even though it was difficult to located on the first night. Room was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was very nice with lots of healthy options. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if I return to Prague.

You couldn't ask for a better location, and the hotel is really nice to boot. We got a free upgrade to a Signature room upon check-in, with a modern glass bathroom and free nonalcoholic drinks from the fridge. The room was quiet at night despite being near many restaurants, etc. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. Old Town Square and Namesti Republiky are both a 15-min. walk at most.

We have been coming to the Hotel Josef for almost 10 years now, but the guests are only used as moneymakers. We had suite 703, and none of the pictures show that it was so cramped and you were constantly getting bruises from the TV cabinet, and that for 400 euros a night. The breakfast was a disgrace when you consider that for a year now, every day we have had the same thing: a plate of sausage with cooked and raw ham. There was no variety, even though there are so many types of sausage in Bohemia, or salmon, or cold trout. In a 2 or 3 star hotel you get a lot more choice. In the past, you would get birthday greetings at breakfast or at the latest when you left, because the birthday is also on the bill, but as I said, humanity is also lost. Next year we will look for a more pleasant hotel in Prague.

Recommend this hotel highly, clean , good amenities and close to most attractions, staff very attentive and friendly. Lot of choice with eateries close by and large department stores close by also.The main square is approximately ten minute walk .
