Safestay Prague Charles Bridge

Stolen wallet due to no basic security. A homless couple was just staying the night in the common room and apparently grabbed my jacket on the way out. I myself could enter at 3 in the night by just pressing the button on the door. As the lady from the police later said: pretty ironic name...

Some beds have no lockers and the staff won't tell you until you ask where your locker is. Staff are rude and everything is too much trouble for them. I have emailed twice asking about both of these things and they have not replied. As well as this the name is misleading as its quite far from Charles bridge and the hostel has absolutely no atmosphere. Even though its very cheap it's not worth the price for the lack of security, unfriendly staff and misleading location. 4 months on they are still avoiding our emails. Do not stay here.

The hostel is very centrally located in Prague. The en-suite rooms were very clean. Very safe and yet friendly atmosphere. The staff made an attentive and very trustworthy impression. In my time the hostel was very empty which I don't understand. Gladly again!

This hostel is in a great location. The staff are friendly. My friend Mike broke the toilet door in the room and treated the staff very poorly but they were professional throughout and did not charge for the door. Would recommend but I’ll never go on holiday with my friend Mike again.

The hotel is conviently located except only towards the last bit where you have to walk through small alleys. However we checked in late at night and were met by the worst staff who yelled at us and was disrespectful, mannerless and did not know what hospitality means. She yelled at me saying i have not checked my email where she sent details regarding online check in and was jot ready to listen that there was no link in the email which i could have used to online check in. She sent an email again while we were at reception and told us to check in online. Again the email did not have any links. Apparently she was lazy enough that she did not herself want to actually work and check us in. I have read previous similar reviews about the same lady here but i guess the hotel owners do not care
