It was the best hotel I stayed in Europe.
Next time I visit Prague, I will definitely come here.
It was nice that the amenities were provided.
There are also slippers and robes.
It was nice to have a bathtub.
The breakfast was also better than any hotel.

The location was wonderful, and I was able to spend a very relaxing time, stopping by for a break during the trip. The staff was also very kind, and when I told them that I was injured, they disinfected it and put a band-aid on it. The view from the rooftop and from the tower near Charles Bridge, which guests can climb for free, was also great.

Chose Hotel Pod Vezi for its great reviews and it lived up to our expectations. Fantastic location just a few metres from the Charles Bridge and yet quiet enough to have the windows open at night (bearing in mind this was a February visit with lower numbers of visitors than in the height of season).
Our room was in the Annexe which was less than 30 seconds from the main hotel. The Annexe is an old building but the room itself was modern, large and well-appointed with a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable and my only gripe was the pillows which were synthetic and due for replacing.
There were nice touches and a little gift left for us each day.
The breakfasts were excellent - a blend of Czech and international offerings to suit most tastes and the prosecco / Buck's Fizz was a lovely addition although we never actually felt the need to start the day with fizz!
The staff were delightful - friendly and helpful and our free admission to the tower by the hotel was a great place to start out sightseeing with its tremendous, panoramic views over the Charles Bridge and city. All in, I couldn't imagine a better hotel for a short city break in Prague!
