Rest-a-While Guest House - Pretoria

Very Bad Service. Arrogant Owner. The Owner is also a racist. The Owner quoted me for Accommodation and Meals (Company paid her in full). And on arrival I noticed that they did not have facilities to prepare the meals. She forced that I must eat food prepared in the kitchen that is being painted and dusty. (pictures attached). The room I slept in was dirty and had cockroaches. Dirty sheets (picture attached). The owner still charged for meals she never provided and further threatened me, and she also indicated to me that she sent a report to my Company about my behavior (Which she did painting me all bad). Fortunately, over a decade I was never accused of such behavior by any Hotel / Guest House and her report really meant nothing about my behavior. Poor Service. We did not have electricity the whole time (Even outside the Load Shedding Schedule). The Owner is also a racist and has no respect for Black People at all. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone especially Black people. My Company has paid for the Service that was not delivered. Very - very bad Service. The staff working there is also not happy especially the black People. The Manager at the Guest House is pushed around and have no say as he is also trying to make a living. Very bad lifetime Experience. I have been in Hotels and Guest Houses for over a decade now. But this was my worst experience.

Rest-a-While Guest House Pretoria , was worth the stay , the service , food and just everything was perfect if you are in Pretoria and want a place then I will highy recommend Rest-a-While Guest House Pretoria , absolutely Stunning

Very very poor service, the price was R100 (per day) more then the original quotation. The owner is arrogant and do not know how to speak to clients. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent place to stay whether it be for business or family. The facilities are always neat and clean and the rooms will cater for all your needs. They also make provision for load shedding and will accommodate special requests you may have. Very quiet area so it is a very nice place to stay if you need a bit of peace and quiet.

Very friendly, safe and clean. Lovely breakfast, comfortable room and good value. We loved it so much we’re going back to stay for a month!!

Comfortable and relaxed setting in a quiet neighbourhood. Safe parking. Generator is available which is always a positive as electricity supply is uninterrupted. At least one chair in the rooms would have been appreciated.

What a wonderful experience. We recieved a warm welcome on arrival. We were quite a big group and were handled with ease. The rooms and amenities are fantastic. Everything is well equipped. Rest a while is the bar by which other guest houses can measure themselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful hosts, a very charming and clean Guest House that suited our needs. Would recommend without hesitation, close to all amenities. The attention to detail with toiletries was more than we expected for a Guest house that was reasonably priced, we were impressed.

What a wonderful long stay at Rest-a-While. The hosts took great care to ensure I was comfortable and went out of their way to assist me. Laundry was done promptly. Rooms and communal areas were clean, neat and tidy, not to mention the scrumptious breakfasts. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Excellent value for money.
