"The hotel is a little old and offers spacious rooms with good bathrooms. The proximity to the neighboring building can be a little noisy - better to take a room on the upper floors ;-). Very friendly staff, very clean, the evening meal buffet wasn't really our thing in terms of taste. There's nothing you can do about that. The canned fruit we found at breakfast was sobering - which in our opinion is completely unacceptable in such a fruit-rich country! It's OK for one night and the government seat is a stone's throw away."

My wife was awed by the whole experience during our 3 days stay, and our highlight was the Spa experience. That put us at ease. The food served is excellent and good value for money. "Please note that this hotel does not cater for disabled guests. You HAVE to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to any of the rooms AND THEY SAY NOTHING ABOUT IT ON THEIR website. When you ask management about it they look sheepish and mumble nonsensically. The owners are impossible to get hold of."

"We are from the West Coast and this was our 1st stay at Bushmans Rock. The photos does not do it justice. Honestly this lodge is breathtakingly beautiful and so well cared for by friendly staff and security. I had to prep for a show and the chef prepared all my food to specifics and they even let me practise my intro walk in their venue. This is one place who I could ask for all the help I needed to prep and they assisted with the utmost friendliness. We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. An absolute recommendation to families with kids as they have a secured and well equipped play area. The restaurants food was amazing and our room just perfect. Thank you for making this a memorable stay and our go-to place for future trips to Pta."
