I will recommend. It was clean and had friendly staff

Will start with staff was very nice but the condition of the property is poor. The pullout sofa was stained, pillow cases stained, all furniture was chipped and shabby and no coffee, tea or water in lobby. If you’re used to a certain Marriott feel this hotel is missing that. On the plus, the staff addressed my concerns and it is 5 minutes from the battlefield at Manasses.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at a Marriott property recently, and it truly stands out as the worst property I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Let me provide you with more details about my stay. As a loyal member of Marriott for over 20 years, it was disheartening to encounter such a subpar property. Due to limited options in the area, I had no choice but to tough it out for two nights at this particular hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the property was in a state of neglect. The overall maintenance and upkeep were severely lacking, giving the impression of an old and poorly manicured establishment. One of the first signs of the property's disrepair was the wallpaper peeling off the walls as I walked down the hallway. It was a clear indication that the property was in dire need of attention. Multiple areas throughout the hotel required immediate painting and updates to restore a sense of freshness and modernity. The rooms themselves were shockingly outdated and desperately in need of renovation. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit in my room emitted a deafening noise that made it seem like it was about to detach from the wall. In fact, I could physically see the unit wobbling precariously. This not only compromised my comfort but also raised concerns about the overall safety of the room. In light of my experience, I strongly believe that this property requires a major upgrade. And when I say major, I mean it in the most emphatic way possible. The level of disrepair and neglect I witnessed during my stay was truly alarming, and it is my hope that Marriott takes immediate action to address the numerous issues plaguing this property.

The saying 'you get what you pay for' is so true of this hotel. Very reasonable rate and convenient location. But this hotel needs updating and refurbishing badly.

May 2024's Stay I returned for a second stay and was less impressed than the first. The room was fine. It was clean and served its purpose. My issue was regarding hotel safety. This time, my room was on the opposite side of the hotel, again with me parking away from the main entrance and using a side door to better access the room. This time it didn't matter that the key card slot was outdated as the door was completely open. For the other doors around the property, my key didn't work. Upon checking out, I needed to leave early (about 4:45 am), so upon driving around to the front entrance, the key didn't work in the door. No one was there, and no one answered the buzzer at the door. That's how I knew my key didn't work in the other doors either, so I went around to the door that was unlocked and walked back to the lobby to put my returned key into the basket. I will not return. I don't like my safety in jeopardy when traveling, which is why i prefer a hotel instead of motels. February 2024's Stay I spent a few days at this hotel, but my reviews are mixed. The overall experience was decent as the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and it had a comfortable bed. I generally don't like the hotels that offer a cafe instead of the continental breakfast, but it was nice that it was open til late just in case a person didn't want to go get food or pay the high fees of doordash. While it was not the hotel's fault, it seemed the people in a nearby room were fighting, and that did cause a bit of a concern as I was working a bit from the room. But the hotel handled it promptly, and about six police cars arrived. One of the hotel's downfalls is depending on where your room was located; if you needed the elevator, you had either to walk a bit of a way through the hotel to get there or park on the side of the building and use a side door. That made me feel unsafe. I had to go out to my car, and two men were lingering. If either decided to do something bad, I wouldn't have had time to return to the hotel before they got to me. The key card slot has a cover that needs to be lifted to insert the room key. Overall, I might not stay there again just because of that one factor. I don't particularly appreciate feeling unsafe in that manner. There was too much traffic at that entry for there not to be a better system.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel. After checking in my key card was not working . Walked back downstairs to speak to front desk. Replaced it, still not working. She comes to check it out, come to find out there is someone in the room. Switched to another room, key cards not working. After what felt like a million trips walking back and forth to the desk, the 3rd room she gave me was horrible. It smelled like crap, the bathroom was leaking. The bed frame had some white dirty spots on it. I had to Lysol everything. I was soo tired for driving 3 hours there I just wanted to sleep. And the bed was very uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to check out and go somewhere else . The lady at the office had the nerve to say I will give you a coupon for…seriously!! After causing me all these inconveniences a coupon for what $5 breakfast is what I deserve? Nah. Will not be staying here again.
