Very comfortable king size bed great food accommodating staff. Steaming hot high pressure shower. Historical building and location right in the centre of town adjacent to everything. Very cheap but still clean. The only thing holding it back was the smell of cigarettes. l guess you can never escape that. I will definitely stay again

I thank you so much for making our kids experience unforgettable, my kids loved the way you treated them and literally told me we haven't had the best customer service before, this is the best place for families! Nice And lovely owners! I have forgotten their names already, but very friendly, helpful Very clean rooms! (I was previously the operations manager for a Cleaning and Maintenance business) Good quality supplies in both room (teas, coffees and biscoff) and bathroom. Microwave and kettle plus corkscrew. Decent size bar fridge. Plenty of bench space. Spacious bathroom. Iron and ironing board. BBQ available with cooking utensils, plus tinfoil and paper towels. They really have thought about everything. Cool 2nd floor balcony area (shared spaces) with tables and chairs to have dinner with the crew, or cute and comfy ”vintage” seats and coffee table to watch the sunset. Loved the pool! 1min walk from a delicious fish and chip shop. Free washing machines to use, and lots of clothesline space. I love the big room numbers on the doors, makes it very easy to find room, and completely cuts out unnecessary walking. They were doing some serious renovations while we were there, I look forward to seeing it on my next visit

This place is probably the best (or in the top 3) of places to stay in Airlie. The location is great..right on the water (remember you can’t swim though due the stingers for most of the year). Views are amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful (after being asked a few times). The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. However the place seriously lacks in meeting international standards for 4-5 star accommodation. Room service stops at 8.30 and the restaurant won’t take bookings past this time! There’s no restaurants in Airlie that take bookings after this time. There’s no in room phone to ring reception.. unbelievable! There’s no drawers in the rooms, other than your beside table, to put clothes in. You’re provided with 5 theft proof coat hangers..are they that dear? We asked the cleaners twice and reception once for more but they never came. It’s best of the very average approach Airlie takes to tourists. We travel a lot are amazed and embarrassed at how expensive and poor quality tourism provisions are in North Queensland.

Wonderful accommodation, exactly what we wanted from our stay. Clean cabins, no fault that we could find. On the last day, it rained heavily and we were unable to get a taxi to town and catch a bus to the airport. The owner kindly gave our group a lift into the town, with no expectation of any reward. 10/10

We absolutely loved this place. To stay Monica on the desk was so helpful and is honestly a great asset to the holiday park! We stayed in the tropical villa which is so spacious and has aircon in each room. Within 10 minutes of us arriving me cancelled out next accommodation in Airlie Beach and booked another night at the reception desk in the villa. The pool was great and the bird feeding was very cool. This park would be incredible for family’s, but even us, as a group of friends loved it! The only downside was the walk to the centre of Airlie, it’s a good 20 minute walk in the heat, we chose to taxi to save ourselves. Overall it’s a beautiful holiday park , I would recommend to anybody coming to Airlie😊

It's a little far from the town. If you take a taxi, it will cost about $ 10. The hotel facilities are complete and clean. I don't clean the room every day, I feel very good and protect privacy. If you need cleaning, you can tell at the hotel front desk. Dinner was great too. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach as well as coles. The hotel also has a shuttle service, which is great overall and good value for money.

The Mirage is a gorgeous hotel with modern rooms and breathtaking views. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (room 53) which overlooked the sea and the pool. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. It’s a 5min cab ride to the main ***** in Airlie Beach which costs $10 each way. The hotel also offer a free shuttle at 10:30am and 2:30pm daily which was handy. Now to go over the not so great aspects of hotel. The rug in room 53 is stained, dirty and I had to ask for someone to come up to vacuum it when I arrived because I didn’t want my baby crawling on it. Even with the vacuum it was still disgusting. The rug needs to go! The bed heads need to be replaced as the material is flaking and gets all over the bed. The shower screens were not cleaned at all. Standard of cleaning must be improved. The breakfast is pretty average, presentation, quality and variety needs to be improved. The portable clothes line in our laundry was old and broken, needed to be thrown out and not offered to guests in that state. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

We drove up from Melbourne towing our boat and stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin (sleeps 6) for 5 nights 26/6/23 to 1/7/23 - It was INCREDIBLE. This was our best family holiday so far. 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2). Our cabin was right next to the park and jumping pillow which was perfect! The play equipment was great and kept the kids entertained for hours as well as all the other kids staying in the park. Boat was easy to park just behind our cabin, others had parked their trailers/caravans there too so plenty of room while you’re there for storage. Our cabin was stunning. It was huge, full kitchen, lounge, dinner table, bathroom with a washer and dryer, tvs in both bedrooms and the lounge! Everything was super comfy and worked smoothly without issues. So good to be able to relax in your own space with everything you need and not take any dirty washing home! Only minor comment is that there was free wifi but it’s temperamental so we weren’t able to connect at all - didn’t bother us but just so you know. The pool was crystal clear salt water, huge, toddler pool also and a water park. Not heated so lovely and refreshing! The kids and us were fully entertained and enjoyed hours splashing in both. These facilities far outweigh other parks in the area and I wouldn’t choose any other park with kids. Hands down the way to go. The grounds are pristine and well kept, lush and so beautiful. So much space to play and walk and enjoy. Pedal carts were fun and games room took spare change haha! Reception staff always kind and helpful ready to go above and beyond. We had booked a room and tried to change it online but had issues through the booking company and extra fees. When we checked in they advised they upgraded us for free! AMAZING!! We rode into town for dinner and sightseeing a few nights/days and it was 3.5km, an easy ride our 5 year old managed no issues. Jubilee tavern is super close and has an awesome playground for kids. Also a great skate park just up from that and in Airlie an epic park too.so convenient to the park. We 300% recommend Discovery Parks Airlie Beach and WILL DEFINITELY be back to stay many more times.
