A lovely boutique hotel in a good position for getting around the city(metro nearby ). Great restaurants across the street. Fab breakfast and honesty bar and it was really nice to be able to make a cup of tea when you returned from a day/night sightseeing. The staff were helpful and very friendly. It was a lovely start to our south American adventure!

I loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of "Good Morning Madame." Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night. There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix. The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish. Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!

Hotel Le Reve is an amazing place for a base in Santiago. It is located amongst some amazing restaurants in a lovely quiet street The staff are fabulous. Jose the manager was prompt and friendly with any queries that I had emailed prior to our stay. On arrival they gave us an early check in which was very much appreciated after our long flight from Australia. We had a room on top floor and enjoyed sitting on the small balcony in the sunshine! The rooms are small but vey comfortable, and extremely clean. Very nice breakfast included in rate. Would recommend Baco, a French restaurant within a 5min walk and Le Cross, a casual eatery across from Hotel. There is also a supermarket within a few minutes walk if needed. Lovely Park area not far away to stretch your legs . We felt safe at night at all times. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely hotel !

Le Reve is truly charming in the BEST of ways. The word "charming" for hotels is sometimes a nice euphemism for old and stuffy. But that is not the case here. I found myself excited to wake up for the breakfast in the lovely parlor and eager to return in the evenings to make myself a cup of coffee in the kitchen and bring it up to my room to unwind. The location was great for walking, with some nice eateries right across the street. A pro especially when roaming the streets alone. The room was lovely and clean, with nice lighting fixtures and a hot shower with great water pressure. I asked for a room facing the courtyard. I'm sensitive to noise but did not have any issues. Jose and his team also helped arrange my airport transportation and early check-in. I enjoyed seeing them every day and will miss their warmth and professionalism. Another pro: I woke up a night or two to some mild shaking due to earthquakes in the area. Had I stayed in a high rise hotel, this likely would've been a lot more alarming to me. But instead I was comforted knowing I was on the third floor and was quickly lulled back to sleep. Thank you, Le Reve!! If I ever find myself back in Santiago, you will be the first place I try to book.

Consigliatissimo. Grazie di tutto, Francesca e Gabriele

The service we received during our stay was excellent. Staff at the front desk all spoke English which we appreciated as our Spanish is poor. They had many recommendations for restaurants and tours including the one we took to Valparaiso with Chris (from Tours by Locals) which was great. Visually appealing, the hotel features a classic design and has a beautiful library style room where breakfast is served. The kitchen is open to guests in the afternoon for complementary tea, coffee and biscuits. (Thank you to staff who helped caffeinate my jet-lagged body out of hours.) There is also an honesty bar for the stronger stuff. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and our room had a private balcony which looked out onto a pretty courtyard. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to good restaurants and many local attractions.

We stayed in Le Reve Boutique Hotel for three nights during a family vacation to Chile and Easter Island. We arrived late on a Saturday night after a long day of travel. Having eaten only airplane and airport lounge food all day, the man at the front desk checked us in and watched our luggage while we ran down the street to have a late dinner before the restaurants closed. We then went up to our room which was cozy, comfortable, air conditioned, very peaceful and had a television with some U.S. stations available. Many nice restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. Also a short walk to the Teleférico de Santiago (aerial tramway). The staff at Le Reve was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay, arranging transportation and recommending a nearby gym, places to see and good restaurants. There was also a nice breakfast every morning. Great place to stay and a good value too.

Room with the street view is super small and noisy. There are a few bars on the street and you can hear everything from your room. Had trouble sleeping because of that. The staff is great, breakfast with healthy choices to choose from. Hotel is cozy and well decorated, however I would book the rooms with inside patio view. They are bigger and I believe quieter.
