I loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of "Good Morning Madame." Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night. There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix. The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish. Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!

Breakfast was excellent. The staff was over the top helpful. The private back garden was our favorite feature. Great place for a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing! Highly recommend.

What an absolute gem right in the middle of the city!! Turning off from the busy main road I felt that I was transported to Europe. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Amenities were superb with a honesty bar and snacks provided 24/7 Will definitely highly recommend

The rooms were stunning and very comfortable and the linen was excellent. The staff were amazing, fun , very experienced and extremely helpful , there were a few times that without the staff people would have missed their flights or needed to reschedule flights and the staff navigated through with individuals with above average problem solving skills. The breakfast was amazing, good food and lovely setting, the self serve bar is well done, and all my group made use of the bar. The decor of the hotel is lovely boutique, classy, with interesting books, art work and ambiance. The garden was a very special treat inclosed and private.

This boutique hotel was sold to us through a luxury travel company who we trusted along with the exceptional ratings on Trip Advisor. Sadly on arrival, we stood ignored at reception whilst the receptionist took a call and conversed with a colleague. The lift states a maximum of one person so we used it separately as we had each a large suitcase with us, which wouldn’t have fit. Worryingly the lift didn’t quite meet with the floor when we got out! The room was very small, tiny wardrobe and not even a full length mirror. Breakfast served in a dark almost claustrophobic room with only low tables to sit at, however, the produce on offer was good quality albeit limited. I’d liken this hotel to a good B&B acceptable for a short stay but certainly not the comfort or facilities requited for a longer stay. We compared it to other boutique and chain hotels in Santiago and for us, the exceptional rating is unjustified when others provide far better at comparable prices, and for those very reasons, we moved after our first night.

The Rêve Hotel is beautiful, lovely rooms and a fabulous terrace. The location is ideal to explore the city with lovely places to go for a drink or meal very close by. The staff were super helpful and kind. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Just as described on the website. Beautifully appointed, friendly and helpful staff, lovely location near some good restaurants. In a good and seemingly safe area of Santiago within 10 minutes walking distance of Sky Costanera. We stayed after a cruise before flying home and was a fabulous end to our trip.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after arriving from Heathrow. It's a small, 31 room boutique hotel in the Providenca neighbourhood. This is an interesting area with lots of old, stately buildings and excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The hotel has a charming, ivy covered façade overlooking the street, but it's not particularly noisy. Room 208 was quite small but moderately well equipped with an in-room safe and some hangers. The bed was large and very comfortable. Although there was a suitcase stand there wasn't really enough room to use it, even in the wardrobe. There was a very ornate chair at the worktable, but because it didn't fit under the table it was a nuisance when moving around the room. This is a boutique hotel housed in an older building and the room and furniture reflects this. We returned here after a few days on Easter Island before our cruise round S. America and were allocated room 101. This is a ground floor room with access to the enclosed garden area. It had similar facilities to room 208 but the chair fits under the worktable which is much more useful and there is more room for the suitcase stand. The air conditioning unit was very efficient and much appreciated. The walk-in shower is good, but the tiled floor is slippery with wet, soapy feet. The staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and did our on-line check-in for our onward flight as well as printing our boarding passes. Breakfast - buffet served in their interior garden during the summer and in the lounge/library area. They offered pineapple and raspberry juices instead of orange which was a refreshing change, although the juices change daily. There was a selection of fruits and cereals as well as breads and croissants. The only hot items were scrambled eggs and bacon - there are none of the items inevitably found in Western buffets such as sausages, hash browns, mushrooms and beans. This also made the buffet different. There was a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, salmon and avocado. The coffee was very good, well flavoured but not too strong. Overall a very appealing breakfast buffet. Honesty bar and Midnight snack - The Honesty bar is a concept I've used before where you have a drink and leave a note of what you had with reception and pay when you check out. Prices were very reasonable: $4 for a glass of wine, $6.50 for an excellent rum.

We stayed at Le Reve for 3 nights and were happy with the hotel! We arrived very early on the day of check-in, and we asked for an early check-in. For a small fee, they were able to accommodate our request. The hotel is located on a street that is very convenient to 2 subway stations for ease of moving around the city. The street has a few restaurants and is walking distance to many others. The small hotel offered breakfast each morning, and an 'honor' bar for happy hour which we enjoyed sitting in their beautiful garden.
