This is a fabulous hotel. Set in the heart of Cuneo’s square right next to the pedestrianised old town and a stones throw from the beautiful cathedral, you’d be hard pushed to find a better place to stay. Communication before arrival was fantastic and easy. Maurizio even sorted out our transport from Turin airport. Not so easy for us to do as we were travelling with bikes (storage at the hotel was provided in their locked garage) The hotel is clean, steeped in history and the staff are incredibly friendly with a great knowledge of English- far better than my Italian! Covid measures are still taken very seriously by all staff too. The room was lovely, a good size, with a balcony. Air-con worked effectively and the bathroom was great. Again, exceptionally clean. House keeping we’re great too. Breakfast is included with all the usual you’d expect for a good continental graze! Again, staff are exceptionally welcoming. Cuneo is not really a destination people consider but if you do find yourself heading that way, this is certainly the place to stay! This was my second stay in this hotel The first time was two years ago in the annex but it made me want to come back especially for the pool. This time I came with my family and I booked two Deluxe rooms with Booking. This stay turned out to be very poor. The first morning at 07:30 the cleaning ladies chatted for an hour in the hallway at the door of our rooms without it being possible to silence them even by notifying the reception. Then the cutlery for breakfast was not clean, in particular a very dirty spoon, which a child would not have placed on a clean table and then the next day a chipped glass. Then I did not appreciate the sticky tables at the rear of the garden, uncleaned, the unsightly presence of a basin of stagnant water in this same place which naturally attracts the mosquitoes which devour your ankles, the garbage can in the parking lot which overflows and the grimy underside of the bathroom soap dish. I gave a letter of complaint the first morning at reception, it never had the slightest echo. The management is absent and the reception inoperative. On my return I made an unappreciative comment on Booking which only generated an artificial intelligence message. Although the place is magnificent, the garden well-kept and the swimming pool always very pleasant it is necessary to reckon with a difficult access in the last very narrow roads to the castle where it is better not to cross another vehicle. Finally the breakfast is delicious and its staff friendly, but this is not the case with the management who does not take into account or repair the inconvenience suffered in a so-called 4 star establishment. I cannot recommend this hotel and won’t return.

Personale collaborante e gentilissimo. Ambiente pulitissimo, ristrutturato da poco, bagni comodissimi e docce ampie Colazione in ambiente piccolo ma...non manca nulla e fa invidia ai superstellati. Zona comoda ai parcheggi pubblici e se ci si ferma oltre le 4 ore sono veramente economici (-＞ multipiano)

My wife and I stayed here two nights in late May, ‘23. We were driving from southern France to northwestern Italy and wanted a pleasant place to break up the trip. Cuneo turned out to be a good choice and the Superga was an very good place to stay. We recommend it highly and would not hesitate to stay there again – it is a well-located, well-managed, and very comfortable hotel. The Superga is just a short walk to the main square and is right across the street from the indoor market. Free public parking is available not far away, easily doable with rolling luggage. It is possible to park in front of the hotel to drop off or pick up luggage, but not on market days when the entire street as well as the square is filled with vendors, The market is quite something, by the way, and if your stay coincides with it, be sure to stroll through. We checked out the day of the market, and although the street is closed to traffic, we found it to be no problem to roll our luggage to the parking area. There are also a number of restaurants nearby, including one just off the main avenue leading to the square called Deco, which we highly recommend for inventive and well-presented dishes, reasonably priced and with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The lobby is modern and attractive, with a self-service espresso machine. Our room (#122) was large and attractive, with a comfortable king-sized bed, two night stands with outlets, and upholstered reading chair, a desk, coffee maker, tv, and an open closet area with shelves and a safe. Wifi was very good in the room. The bathroom was good sized with a shower and bidet. No counter space, however. We opted for the 5 euro breakfast which was very good – fruit, eggs, waffles, pancakes, juice, homemade baked goods. Definitely a bargain. All in all the Superga is an excellent choice for Cuneo.
