The hotel has spectacular gardens and a very good size pool, the food was very good. The only thing is that the furniture is a little old.

It was a real pleasure. I recommend everyone. We enjoyed every minute of it from the check in to breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were excellent. If you want to explore Tuscany, it is a great base, being very close to Siena and Monteriggioni

Très bel hôtel avec un magnifique cadre. Les photos correspondent parfaitement à la réalité. L'accueil et le service sont parfaits y compris au bar et aux restaurants. Un superbe parc avec un grand piscine s'intègre idéalement dans le domaine. Parking sur place et tennis.

Borgo San Luigi è una struttura immersa nel verde, circondata da silenzio e tranquillità. Si compone di varie ‘casette’, ognuna indipendente dall’altra, seppur adiacenti. Letto comodo con lenzuola di qualità. Colazione ottima ed abbondante. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile, sempre molto educato. Il luogo ideale dove trascorrere una vacanza all’insegna del relax e fuori dal caos della vita quotidiana. Noi siamo stati in periodo di bassa stagione quindi abbiamo vissuto ‘poco’ l’albergo, preferendo visitare le mete turistiche che lo circondano. Ci torneremmo però molto volentieri.

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The restaurant was amazing. The pool area was beautiful. Relaxing around the firepits in the evening was great. The rooms were large, comfortable, and (as isn't always the case in Italy) the shower was very modern. No complaints at all. This was easily my favorite of the 8 hotels I stayed at in Italy.

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer für 3 Nächte. Die Treppen hoch waren steil und nur teilweise durch Handlauf gesichert, vor der Zimmertüre lagen zahlreiche tote Insekten. Der Boden im Zimmer war sehr dreckig, der Duschausfluss z.T. verstopft, keine Gardine am Fenster vom Bad (also einsehbar für andere Hotelgäste), billigste Plastikbecher zum Zähneputzen, halb leere Flaschen für Bodylotion usw., unvollständiger täglicher Ersatz der Badewäsche, kein Flaschenöffner, von einem Tag auf den anderen wurden die gebrauchten Getränkegläser nicht ersetzt. Die ganze Anlage wirkt ziemlich runtergekommen!

The hotel grounds are even more beautiful in person with lush flowers and vibrant colors. Beautiful tall cypress trees when you drive in. Amazing breakfast buffet. Our room with a patio was very inviting and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The pool area with the lit fireplace and pool table was nice for after dinner. Overall the hotel was very reasonably priced.

Wonderful experience in the Tuscan countryside. Located an hour from Florence and much closer to hill towns. Beautiful grounds and rooms and very friendly staff. Great for couples and families. On site restaurant has gourmet Tuscan foods for breakfast (included in rate) and dinner. Special thanks to Massimmo, who took care of us in the restaurant with great service and friendly interactions!
