Awol Hotel Provincetown

The rooms are horrible. The bed is platform and although the mattress and pillows are comfortable everything else really sucks especially for the price. The TVs are outdated there's no closet to hang clothes no dresser to put clothes in no safe to lock up valuables so we didn't allow room attendants to clean our room. There's a small fridge (somewhat useless). There's a closet by the door with shelving (doesn't make sense) and then there's a pole sticking out of the wall to hang clothes I suppose. The bathroom is dark, sexy but dark with no functionality. The little light hanging near sink??? The building isnt in the best condition. I guess the aesthetic is supposed to be a boho vibe? This isn't It . It looks like they tried to make it look fancy but the room lacks functionality. The only good part about this place is outside. There's a great little pool area where towels are provided along with floaters in the pool. They also have three very nice fire pits outside with plenty of seating. The breakfast served was just ok. The views from our room looking out onto the marsh was absolutely beautiful. We will not stay here again. It was a very uncomfortable short holiday. The entire room can be improved upon. The rooms look better online as they look rundown in person. People like nice places to stay but I think most like functionality over aesthetics that aren't adding value. For the price we paid and the lack of value I don't recommend this place.

Great location and service from the staff! Breakfast was OK. I did like all the fresh berries for the granola. Our room was nice, but it definitely could have used more light by the sofa.

It was a great place to relax and enjoy some beautiful views! Really enjoyed it!

Amazing weekend at the awol. Surprised my husband with two nights here and it was exceptional. Particularly Sawyer and Andrew at the front desk who surprised us with a gift basket and rose upon arrival. Such great vibes and a perfect weekend in Ptown. Can’t wait to go back!!

Great location with views and sunshine all day. Decorated really well and the staff couldn’t have been nicer to us. The fire pit, s’mores, drinks and breakfast were all really nice touches…a hotel that cares about their customers!
