Location is fantastic other than the beach. The beach that the resort was located on had a crap ton of sea**** so we couldn’t really swim at the beach but no big deal because the pools and jacuzzis here are fabulous! You won’t even miss the beach! Food was amazing, they have a multitude of restaurants there on the resort. All sorts of variety. Room service was a bit slow but it’s also a big resort so can you really blame them? Overall 10/10 would recommend

What a great property, staff and stay. I almost don't want to leave a review because it will be harder to book in the future! The grounds, walks, pool areas, and entire property were beautiful, clean and so well maintained. The staff were great from bartenders, servers, front desk...everyone. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and our dinners at three of the reservation restaurants were fantastic. I have never seen such attention to preparation and plating from an all-inclusive resort! It was a quick trip 4-night stay that left us wanting more. Yes hurricanes took the beach away but replenishment is underway and a chair by an infinity pool makes it feel like you're at the ocean's edge. WE WILL BE BACK!!

We’ve stayed to Ventus & Ventus Ha 3 times in the last 8 months. We always have a wonderful time. Great service and the resort is kept clean.

We upgraded to the Platinum Club with a substantial additional fee. However we did not receive the services that we paid for. We never had any contact from the "Butler" who was to make our dinner reersvations, reserve cabanas, provide information, etc, until our last day at the resort. And, that was only after I went to the Platinum Club Office to check out and complained (for the 3rd time that we had not seen our Butler). Remarkedly he showed up before I made it out of the lobby (someone must have finally contacted him) and proceeded to tell me that he had tried to text me but got no response. Really? I recieved 4 texts from Concierge before we arrived and 3 after we arrived. I told the Concierge on 3 occasions that we had not seen or heard form the Butler. This personal service was one of the key reasons why we upgraded to the Platinum Club. We were very disappointed in the lack of service.

Our family has been enjoying the El Cid locations for some years now and have appreciated the people working there that always work to make our stay there very nice. This time, the meals in their restaurants were, for many restaurants, noticeably better and more delicious. In speaking to several other returning guests, many noticed this too. We are anxious to discover what changes await us on our next visit!

Where to start! Amazing hotel, beautiful grounds, friendly and helpful staff, clean and bright accommodations and important for us very celiac aware. The food is outstanding and the staff’s knowledge of the gluten free food is second to none. Thanks to Edgar, Diego and all the baristas at Aroma coffee shop - Jason and all the staff at the Italian especially the smiles from the lovely lady who seated us for breakfast each morning - the reviews about the beach are correct but there are so many lovely pools it didn’t matter to us - the gym is in need of an update but still functional. All in all a most memorable trip helped along by our butlers Noah and Marcelino.
