It was my first all-inclusive resort experience and it was worth the anticipation. The staff was incredible. From the second we arrived we were greeted with great energy and strawberry daquiri's. Luisa was great to deal with at the front desk, she was able to get my friends room and my room close to each other (across the hall). Check in and check out were easy and stress free. The resort is pretty small but it adds to the allure, as you find you get closer with other guests there as well as the staff. My 4 university aged friends and I made friends with people of all ages while we were there (anywhere from 30 year olds to 70 year olds). As long as your respectful, tip well and are kind around the resort, you should be able to get along with everyone. They had such a friendly entertainment staff that put on shows every night and day to keep guests engaged. They become your friends as well. Isa and Carlos (Kankan) are great people and fun performers to watch. Great beach area. They have a bar and buffet down by the beach so you don't have to leave. Plenty of seating at the beach, never couldn't get a lounger. Hector the protector at the beach is great, fun to talk to. We went on the waterfall excursion, which was not exactly to our liking (timing ran long, island time is real). It was just much rougher than we had initially expected, I do still recommend booking a trip through Hector though but NOT the waterfall excursion. He's got a great attitude, not too pushy and reasonable cash deals. He'll be your best friend within 10 minutes Beach vendors are not too pushy at all. The first time they see you they will try and talk to you for a bit, but as the week goes on they calm down and focus on new guests. All my friends and I appreciated the buffet food. FYI we are 5 recently graduated university guys, so our standards are lower for food. The a la cartes were great, really enjoyed the Italian one. Book as many as you can. Cleaning services could be some of the best I've ever received. I tipped $5USD first day and our room was moped and wiped down everyday, new towels, stocked fridge and new sheets. Great housekeeping all around, very impressed. The bartender Orelevious (probably spelt it wrong) who works at the pool bar is the man. He treated my friends great for our trip, poured us well the whole week and always entertained our drunken antics. Make sure to get a few drinks from him. The gym was surprisingly amazing. Not too big but had all the essential equipment with a water cooler and towel service. I really enjoyed the workouts I had there. Some things to be aware of though: I don't know if it's every Sunday, but the Sunday we were there they allowed all the locals in for $50. It was mayhem. Wasn't able to find a table around the pool or a seat at the buffet. They crowded all the games tables. Basically, for one day, the small, quiet resort turned into a loud and busy resort. Nothing bad happened at all, but the locals just don't resp
