"Nice location right on the private beach. The path to the beach leads over a footbridge with ponds with ducks and birds. Beautiful gardens. Room facilities are simple and outdated, but clean. Foothills bathrooms should be refreshed. Wifi for a fee is no longer up to date and should be included. Alcoholic drinks in the all-inclusive offer tend to be cheaper and lower quality. You pay extra for better quality. The food is sufficient, sometimes the freshness and quality is lacking. Staff is friendly and do a good job. The hotel has potential but there is certainly still room for improvement."

"During my stay, when I first arrived it was very hectic with so many people trying to check in and check out in a big but felt small lobby. Upon waiting 3 hours for my check-in time without being able to go use the facility amenities while I wait, when it go to my time of check-in, my room was still not prepared. When I finally arrived at the room, my refrigerator was not stocked, there were flies in my room, and the water did not want to heat up. I had to take a cold shower during my stay at this location. The toilets didn’t even flush well. The room, you can say was like a sauna, due to how warm the room was. During the night, the light went out 3 times in the whole building, even while I was taking a shower. The food I can say needs a better menu as it looked like it was recycled food from the day before and maybe from the day before that one. This hotel I can say goes down on my book as a last resort in staying because I’ve stayed in others that are not as highly rated as this one, and this one disappointed me the most. The pool by el pilon, was very dirty and looked like it needed to get drained and cleaned thoroughly. Only good thing I can say was that the customer service at Cofresí was very good. From the security to the waiters, everyone has a smile and did an amazing job. For the rest of the location, I’d suggest a better menu which I did like Dominican night, better room checks before entering the next guest, heated showers, cooler room temperatures, better check in process, better transportation as many workers going around in golf carts they could give a ride to someone unless of course if they’re busy that’s understood but some where parked and talking. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to a few members of the team who assisted me when I had a flat tire and went above and beyond in making sure I was not alone and helped me every step of the way. Thank you gentlemen for that above and beyond experience you gave me."
