Our vacation, 11-15 Dec 2023, in Be Live Marien, Puerto Plata was excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were placed and treated as VIPs. The hotel has aged, however, clean and well Kept. The service outstanding! I would like to thank Luis at the VIP lounge bar, who served us our first drink, Francis, Roberto, Cecilia and Josefina at Dining, among others, who were extremely hospitable and helpful. The food was great and presentable. The activities and shows, even though it rained on our last two days, decided to go to the sport bar and had a great time drinking and dancing, and again, great service.
We are going back! in 2024.

The worst experience in terms of facilities, food, entertainment, customer service, that I have been able to receive, I booked aware that it was 5 stars and from the entrance it projects you that it does not have even 2 stars, at 12am you can see the full pool cats drinking water, it was for sure the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.

We came from Miami for work travel. The experience with the VIP lounge was excellent. Yamiri Familia and Marlen Genao were super! Two of our travel companions got sick, these two ladies went above and beyond their way to accommodate us and make us feel special when we fell ill.

This was the first time for us at the Marien, Puerto Plata. We spent two weeks and enjoyed every day we were there. The staff was very good to us…the food was plentiful and good. Everything was clean, bathrooms had plenty of tissue & paper towels. The pool was great. We got extra treatment been part of the VIP adults only. This gave us our beach towels in room, housecoats & slippers. You can have your breakfast brought to your room if you wish. We didn’t use the service only because we enjoyed going to the buffet.

We are here now enjoying another great vacation! The Marien is so kind to all guests that visit, new and old. Although older it is immaculate and so beautiful. The animation gave us a “One Moment” for our daughter’s 29th birthday! So much fun! Special thanks to the animation team of Mosquito, Roberto, Chocolate, Felix, Jandra and Jesus, You always make our vacation better! The food and servers are great. Housekeeping does a wonderful job, even brought an extra blanket because the air conditioning works very well in the rooms. Another big shout out to Jason and Johann at the pool bar who are amazingly wonderful! We will be back again!

Nous sommes allées a cet hotel du 18 au 26 avril 2024 , belle hôtel, un peu viellotte mais belle et prpore. Beau petit site tout est facilement accessible. Mais que dire de la bouffe arkkk absolument pas mangeable et surtout pas de variété au buffet les restos a carte nous ne sommes pas aller car le soir ou nous avons voulu faire le brésilien ben il était fermer. Mais le buffet que se soit déjeuner , diner ou souper pas de choix , au déjeuner jamais nous n'avons vu de bacon , pas d'oeuf brouillé n'ont plus .A la piscine il manque des palapas pas assez a mon avis et pas de bar dans l'eau c'est un petit bémol les gens sont moins porter a boire ce serait un plus pour l'hôtel d'en avoir un et aussi des waiter sur le bord de la piscine comme partout ailleurs (vh gran ventan). L'animation autour de la piscine serait grandement apprécié plus quand ce moment il font une demi heure de petit jeu et fini. Nous entk c'était la première fois et la dernière fois que nous y allions terminé.
