Casa Velas Adults Only All Inclusive

This was our second stay at Casa Velas and once again we had a truly amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we had superior service and attention from the staff. Starting with the front desk, Miguel’s team was welcoming, offering a cold beverage as we checked in. Our suite was clean, spacious, and quiet. Daily housekeeping and turndown service was top notch. Included in our stay was unlimited access to the Táu Beach Club. It’s a hidden gem in this all-inclusive resort. Getting there is a quick complimentary shuttle ride from the resort (5 mins) and once there, the incredible team of Enrique, Antonio, Beny, Erick, and Brenda will ensure your day at the beach club is unforgettable. We had a choice of sitting on the beach under a cabana, or up at the pool. Either location has quick and attentive full service (both food and drink). We chose to have dinner at Táu, and we highly recommend this experience. Make a reservation at the front desk at Casa Velas and watch the sun set as you sip a cocktail and dine on magnificent food. Dining right at the resort is also a great option. The food is amazing and the staff (Alfredo, Avolas, Daniel, Roseo, Flores, Jerry, and Rodolfo) are equally amazing. We had both breakfast and dinner during our stay and the food did not disappoint. We have already booked our third stay later this year.

Our trip to Casa Velas was planned through Delta Vacations and was exactly what we were looking for—a tranquil experience in Puerto Vallarta in May. The property is BEAUTIFUL and exactly as pictured, well-maintained. Let me start with the level of hospitality because it was more than just service. Yes, this was all-inclusive, but the staff took pride in their work and the property. They did everything possible to fulfill our dreams of a rejuvenating four days in the sun. At the airport, we were met by a wonderful Delta Vacations attendant who raved about Casa Velas and organized our five-minute taxi ride to the resort. Staff immediately greeted us, confirmed our spa appointments during our trip, and escorted us to our room. So lovely after a flight! The room was beautiful, and the temperature was perfectly cool when we arrived. Fully stocked mini-bar, snacks, and complete details of the property. The huge bathroom had all the comforts you expect from a modern, higher-end resort. I'd like to mention some of my favorite parts of the experience: the food and warm hospitality. The hotel restaurant had an excellent chef (Raúl) and attentive staff (Gracias Rodolfo, Oscar, Avalos, Fatima, and Jesus). Even though we were only at Casa Velas for four days, the staff took an interest in our preferences and curated unique options just for us! (Order the fish tacos and thank me later.) Each night, the restaurant had specials like short ribs or beef bourguignon (a nice option for more extended stays). And the same level of service extended to the pool bar! Thank you to Juan, Ulises, and Ramon for looking after us with thoughtful recommendations and fun custom options. I recommend visiting the Casa Velas spa for some relaxation. I received two massage services during the trip, and Loudes was professional and skilled. Everyone in the spa was so friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about how delightful the entire Casa Velas experience is, and I highly recommend it if you're looking to receive an extra level of care and comfort when you visit Puerto Vallarta. I hope to return very soon!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Casa Velas and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly from the moment we got there and are always going above and beyond to make us feel special. The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable and the food is delicious.

What an amazing stay! Could not recommend this resort more. Smaller in size but big on service. Would stay again and again!!!

Second trip back in April 2024 and just booked another stay for June! Lovely boutique resort that offers a quiet escape - with options for pool or (easy walk) to the beach. From the start, they accommodated room requests based on last year's stay and preferences, and we were quickly unpacked and ready to dine. Breakfast: Great selection and service - every morning we had conchas (our favorite pastry) waiting for us. Tau: An easy walk through the golf course to the beach club where Erick & team are attentive, hard working and make sure your stay is the best it can be. Tau food is excellent - great lunch grill options and mid day snacks. Clean facilities, relaxing ambiance on the ocean. Dinners: We typically eat at the restaurant on site - and Rodolfo always took care of us. Never an empty glass and went above and beyond to create a memorable experience each evening with our food requests and experiences. The General Manager and Jerry always made sure we had what we needed and we could not ask for more from an experience (thanks for the limoncello each night!!) We'll see everyone in a few weeks!

I'm usually not one to write reviews, good or bad, but after reading all of the fantastic reviews of this "luxury boutique resort" and then choosing to vacation here for our 10 year anniversary- I had pretty high expectations and they were not nearly met. I would say that this resort was probably a little too small for us. The food was decent, but not good enough for only one restaurant. The food at Tao beach club is pretty much the same so don't expect to eat anything different. We did get to have a dinner at Grand Velas and that was exceptional. We were also offered a dinner at Andrea's restaurant at their other sister property and we had to leave because we could just not eat what was served. No one was overly friendly and welcoming. If you've ever been to Jamaica everyone has a huge smile on their face welcoming you home and you truly feel- home. Here, not so much. There were a few servers at breakfast and dinner that were very kind. No one at the pool bar could ever crack a smile. Made you just feel uncomfortable. There was zero acknowledgement of our anniversary. We go away for our anniversary every year and every resort has always done something. Whether it was a bottle of champagne, rose petals etc. Here- we were told we could buy a package. We weren't asking for much, just a little "thank you" because this is the place we chose to celebrate. It is a beautiful property and very quiet so you definitely get your relaxation in, but other than that it was very underwhelming. I usually hate leaving vacation, but I honestly couldn't wait to go home. We were truly disappointed and wishing we had chosen somewhere else to stay to celebrate our milestone.

The property was pretty, but the "private" beach club was not private at all. Only one restaurant on the property. Food was medeocre at best. Tips are supposed to be included, however, you have to she out every time you get food or drinks and there is an option for a tip. The beach club was closed some of the days and honestly, not worth the money AT ALL. we will not return. Waste of time and money. Limited menu and no amenities were offered, as what were offered on *******. No one showed us around, we couldnt find the beach club. The couple days it was open, it was full. The propert is very misleading. False advertisement. Our spa credit did not accumulate and they literally had one menu to chose from, otherwise you had to ride by bus everywhere else. W ewere able to spend a total of maybe 4 hours on the back in a 5 day period.

Very relaxing, tranquil property and friendly service at the restaurants. Food was very high quality. Adults only property, but definitely not a resort for younger couples looking for a mix of liveliness to go with the quiet. It is definitely an older crowd and little to no action during the day - it was nice to be able to take advantage of the sister Velas Vallarta and Tau Beach Club for a bit more action.
