We came here for our 1st anniversary, after getting married here last year! It is the most beautiful place on earth that we have ever been! The food and drinks are amazing, but the service is even better! At the pool side bar, Ulises, Ramon, and Juan are sooo accomodating. They make sure you always have what you need and do it with a smile on their face. At Emilianos, Avalos will bring joy to your morning cup of coffee with his exuberant personality! Rodolfo, Daniel, and Miguel took great care of us during all of our dinners too! The beach club is very relaxing and has a different food menu from Casa Velas. Everything we ate was very good! We can't wait to make this beautiful destination an annual vacation!

We had a number of flashing lights in our room 309.
Fire detector flashed all night above the bed and the connection to the internet lit up throughout the night.
The room was out of date….sliding door hard to open ,
Outside hot tub was nasty. Stained and sliced in the cement. No way would we would use it. However we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were delightful.. entertainment was excellent ..

Casa Velas is an absolute gem of a resort as we discovered during our first stay in March 2023, and confirmed to us again when we returned in March this year. You can believe the many 5-star reviews guests leave because absolutely everything about this resort is maintained to a very high standard. It is clear from the minute you arrive that everyone, from the very caring Front Desk and Concierge who assisted us several times, Dining Room (delicious meals and wonderful service), Pool Bar, Housekeeping (our room was kept sparkling), Grounds staff (always meticulously maintaining the lush landscape, trees and flowers) to the Beach Club, work very, very hard to make your vacation experience exceptional! Casa Velas is situated slightly inland, with access to a beautiful sandy beach from the resort’s Tau Beach Club, a short shuttle ride away provided to its guests. Most days we chose to walk to the Club through the local neighborhood - it’s an interesting walk, about 10-15 minutes. And again, the food and service at the Club were terrific. The heart of Puerto Vallarta is just a short taxi ride away from the resort, and whether you take one of the many tours offered online (a great way to meet fellow travelers), or just want to do some exploring on your own, there is so much to see. It is a vibrant and bustling city! Other interesting excursion options can be found online. And if you want to venture further outside of the city a daytrip to the beach town of Sayulita which we took with a guide on our first trip in 2023 is highly recommended. Finally found our spot, been to many upscale resorts in Mexico and Caribbean but this one has figured out what people truly are looking for. Lets start with the ambience, which is like a sigh you take knowing you can finally relax. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate you in your every needs. The resort has a retro colonial design, so if your looking for bling this not the place. The food is exceptional comparable to any fine dinning establishment which is reflected in their presentation and service. The location is within walking distance to their other properties that you have access to and the Marina. They have achieved their goal which is to create a satisfied guests that will always wish to return. Thank you to all the staff of Casa Velas for our memorable stay and see you soon.

This was my second time at this amazing resort. This time was for my girlfriend‘s birthday, here for 5 days and 5 nights. it could not have been more perfect! This resort is so impressive! It’s meticulously cared for, all the smallest details are handled, it’s like being in that old show Fantasy Island. The pictures online do not do a justice because it is so much more glamorous. Located in the gorgeous marina, they will shuttle you to their Tau Beach Club, which is another amazing experience, and it’s only a cab ride away from the fantastic downtown Puerto Vallarta Boardwalk. We have been many places, many vacations. This is by far hands-down just a wonderful experience and we plan on coming back every year. Big shout out to Ulises who took care of us while we were at the pool every day and to Jose who came to our room every day bringing us whatever we desired, plus his beautiful smile and charming personality. If I could give this property 10 stars, I definitely would.

La plus belle expérience dans un tout-inclus. Tout le personnel est tellement gentil, que ce soit à la réception ou au bar de la piscine, au restaurant, à la plage... je n'ai que des félicitations à faire. Pas de mots pour exprimer toute notre gratitude au personnel pour avoir fait de notre séjour les meilleures vacances à vie. Merci très spécial à Ulises, Juan, Ramon, Sergio, Daniel, Sarahi... pour avoir pris le temps de bien nous recevoir, de bien nous servir, d'être au-devant de nos petits caprices. Merci au chef de m'avoir préparé des repas sans gluten tout au long de mon séjour, cela m'a permis de manger sans gluten sans avoir peur de la contamination. Et quel repas, tout est tellement bien présenté, cela donne le goût de manger. Les spectacles sont très appréciés (couple de chanteurs, spectacle Fire Show, Chinese Show, harpiste, violoniste, guitariste... Comme indiqué dans le sondage de l'hôtel, merci à tout le personnel, incluant les personnes qui font le ménage des salles de bain, qui entretiennent la beauté du site et qui nous font manger comme des rois. Tout le personnel est content de travailler pour Casa Velas et nous espérons que l'ambiance reste telle quelle pour l'avenir.
