Hotel is in great location and although a bit old, was clean and well kept up. Angeles at the reception was extremely kind and helpful, getting me into my room in advance of check in time and upgrading me to a bigger room! Rooftop pool is nice but was nice to use pool and beach chairs at larger sister resort across the street.

I thought it was a good hotel, the location is perfect even though they should only say that the restaurant is in another hotel, but everything was wonderful.

This is a traditional Mexican hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. It is conveniently located near the Malecon, beach restaurants and bars, and all the Zona Romantica has to offer. The rooftop pool/lounge is clean and relaxing. Walk over to its sister property, Los Playas Arcos, to use the beach and restaurant. Stay there if you prefer a resort experience. Skip the all inclusive options because there are so many affordable and delicious options to explore in the area. The only negative is that the rooftop bar closes at 4 pm.

Historic, quaint hotel with a pretty courtyard. Room was dark & sterile. Bathroom was gross. Rooftop was nice but pool was cold & rooftop food/beverage service was extremely limited. It was a nice 2-star dated hotel near the beach but in a bad location.

El hotel y las instalaciones están muy lindas. Sin embargo, por ser mexicanos sentimos algo de discriminación en la atención a nosotros por parte de un hombre recepcionista y un guardia (el trato fue muy diferente para nosotros que cuando los vimos interactuando con extranjeros). Todos los demás fueron muy amables con nosotros, sobre todo Elizabeth que nos explicó todo muy bien. El buffet en el hotel los arcos fue delicioso.

This property should not accept bookings since they cannot make adjus**ents that are requested one month beforehand. I needed to push the check in date back by 2 nights and keep the rest as is, though after long phone calls and weeks of back and forth e-mailing it became clear that the property was not responsive enough to handle this minor adjus**ent. ******* wrote informing me that they were not able to get through to Casa Dona for a confirmation of this change, and then finally that they would charge my card as a no show. This even goes against *******'s policy as changes can be made weeks in advance

Property is good. Rooms are average and smelly. Maids are terrific, but front desk staff is bad. Slow and feeble at their jobs (especially Joel)
