I really enjoyed my stay here. Three nights over the weekend and it was peaceful. Comfy bed and great breakfast. Staff was very helpful with all my needs. Clean room, shower had great water pressure. Close to the Malecon with night market and beautiful cathedral down the street. The church bells were quite charming. View from rooftop allowed me to see cool fireworks! I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Porto Allegro is a fantastic property, ideally situated in Centro, very close to the malecon and Romantic Zone and all of the restaurants and bars within the area. Even with this proximity, it was very tranquil in the evening, much more than I expected. The property is kept immaculately clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is simple but satisfactory. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and would absolutely stay here again on a future visit.

The location was excellent. It was close to the Malécon and shopping markets. The included breakfast on the rooftop was a bonus with a wide choice of items to choose from. The staff were courteous and helpful. Yes, some evenings it was noisy outside, but to be expected from it's central location. Our corner room was perfect for a longer stay. What we didn't like was getting woke up every morning by the church bells that started at 7am and rang every half hour after that.

Near everything downtown. Bed is comfortable. Safe area. Also a safe in the room. Breakfast was really good. My only problem is that they raised the prices significantly.
