Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta

Very good experience. Good pools. Good rooms. Very good food.

Just stayed for one day, but it took 2 hours to check in. Not how I expected to spend the afternoon. Junior suite was roomy, though.

It was a wonderful experience, everyone in the resort was helpful and made the all inclusive experience great! I do have a few of the staff I want to recognize for their exceptional service. Cinthia Larras was one of the best servers I have ever had! Very attentive, friendly and fast. Saul was very attentive to our dinner needs and always made us feel special, including Rodrigo, Lois, Miguel, Chava, Katia, Antonio and Jose. Bryan took care of all our travel needs off the resort. Emilse makes amazing Crepes! Would definitely go back! Many thanks to everyone on the resort. Lisa and Mark Leavell

The location is very central. The service is crisp and friendly to a fault. The facility is 40 years old but well-maintained. Food on site rates a bit less and while convenient is pricey. Of particular note is the Activities Team who conduct a number of classes. The best by far were the leaders of the daily water aerobics classes. The 40 minutes of exercise was the highlight of my stay. Of particular note were Diana, Leo and Tino who led us with vigor and unending smiles. Sad to note that this location will be rebuilding into two 35 story towers. Part of the campus is due for demolition soon.

My experience at the Villa Del Palmar was EXCEPTIONAL! I stayed there as a solo traveler and felt extremely safe. The staff was so kind, friendly and hospitable. I also experienced a sense of community there. Food: I was very impressed and pleased with the quality of food! The Seafood restaurant was my absolute favorite! I had the most deliciousmahi mahi. The food I ordered while on the beach was yummy. Gosh, the best quesadillas I'd ever eaten. Room: I received an upgrade upon check-in as my initial room wasn't ready. I had a view of the main pool and some of the ocean. I appreciated the 'silence' after 11pm rule at the property. It was quiet, quaint and peaceful in the evenings. Staff: 5-star staff! Very friendly, helpful. So many people to thank and commend for their exception service, but a special shout out to Rafael Lopez for his kindness! I experienced two tiny challenges: 1) I couldn't remember the code to my security deposit box in the room. They sent someone to fix it asap. 2) My room key stopped working. Several staffers worked a few minutes to get it open. I appreciated it! Beach: The beach attendant was kind to pull a lounge chair and place an umbrella out just for me at my request. I enjoyed a nice spot every day at the beach. BEWARE of the 'beach vendors.' There are dozens of them walking up and down the beach selling items. Kindly decline by saying "No gracias" and they will leave you alone. That was my only gripe. Spa: I received a 60-minute massage for $60. It was very relaxing. I was very sad to leave as I could've stayed a few more days to relax, and will definitely return!

We loved our stay at the Villa Del Parmar. Service was excellent and staff are so friendly. The food has been delicious and the drinks delicious. I'm not used to not having a buffet option at lunch or dinner but the wait staff at the pool do a great job and there are so many options on the menu! Maggy at the front is amazing! She goes out of her way to be helpful! She is very kind and outgoing! It was always nice to see her and get a big smile and wave! Also Yeraldine is a delight! She gave amazing service taking our order and delivering food and drinks around the pool and at beach! Honestly the staff are amazing! We haven't traveled in almost 5 years and this did not disappoint! The only thing that maybe was negative are the pillows were a bit hard, but we asked for extra and got used to them! Thanks for a great 8 days! We look forward to visiting the Flamingos next year!

The staff at the resort were great. Ana in the kids club was amazing!! My daughter still talks about the fun stuff they did together and keeps asking to go back. Thank you
