Not worth the price tag. When we checked in, they tried to make us pay again. Hd to show whole transaction record to prove we had already paid. Staff barely acknowledged us the entire week. Jacuzzi was a tepid pool with jets. Room was clean- kind of. Residual toothpaste on the bathroom wall, etc. Be aware that this hotel is quite a hike up a windy narrow road with no sidewalk!! Looks close to amenities on the map, but reality is that it is a $100 MXN every time you want to grab a coffee or go shopping. They got 2/3 stars from me as it was not terrible, but definitely not great.

Located up in the hills this a nice, clean hotel, staffed by lovely people. The rooms are spacious, there are three rooftop terraces and some nice common areas to lounge around in. The hotel is minimally staffed with few amenities. Breakfast is available in the morning, some snacks are available during the day at the pool bar, no dinner.

Lovely boutique hotel unique experience. Young inexperienced staff service not great.

Nice hotel, not luxury in the Intercontinental or Conrad Hilton sense - super plush towels and fine linens aren’t supplied but the staff was friendly, the hotel os unique, the room was clean, the views are fantastic, and the restaurant was 7/10. The pool is small but it is meticulously maintained. If you get a good price I’d suggest it.

Guess we lucked out at getting one of the best places to stay in PV. Very reasonable pricing, amazing and friendly staff, clean and accessible. Just what we were looking for in our trip. Kudos to the entire staff of Patio Azul. You guys are great!! Thank you so very much!!

Pésima actitud y prepotencia del personal, con excepción de Abraham de recepción, demás trabajadores muy groseros, sin cuidar las formas y discriminándonos por ser mexicanos. El lugar muy bien pero no regresaría jamás por el trato al huésped.

Jose made a comment about my heavy suitcase implying in spanish that maybe i took something from the room. Unfortunately I understand spanish. Jose started radioing housekeeping and held me hostage at the front desk as if i was guilty.. clearly NOT “ not guilty until proven guilty”. He made no eye contact with me and ignored me... When i questioned why i had to stay (my driver was outside waiting) he started at me & said aggressively "well what if you forgot your passport" .. because he knew he could not tell me "what if you stole something"! i have worked in hospitality 14 years and I have never seen anything like it! He has my credit card on file for incidentals.. thats the whole point..! For the couple days i was there he was the only person whom never smiled! for a manager that is pretty poor service... I found a roach in my room but said nothing..! HIS boss should know about this! 101 basics of hospitality, dont attack your guests! And the very worst part… is that when i messaged Jose about his response was worst! “poor woman, in mexico there are rules, you are a tourist who does not enjoy vacations, go to another place where you do your problems”I have stayed in COUNTLESS hotels in Mexico and never been treated like this.. so to presume that i dont know the rules is absurd. And when people dont know the rules you TELL them! Not whispering under your breath to other staff in poor taste. Also nowhere in my reservation does it say i will be held hostage…

I stayed here for 3 days. The lobby is nicely appointed, and the rooms are awesome. Check in and out is simple. The "restaurant" area is used for eating as well as the hang out area because the poo/bar area is small. Now for the issues. There were no wash clothes in the bathroom of the room. Th TV allows a guest to use Netflix, Hulu or the like. There was no access to tv such as CNN. The restaurant often does not have simple things like sugar, pasta or rice. It often does not have major ingredients like shrimp and there is a very limited menu. More significant, there is one employee Eduardo (who is good but plays favorites with guest) who is the server, busser, pool boy, towel guy and bar tender. Service is glacially slow at best. The upside is the area is well kept. since everyone basically has to hang out there, they need electric sockets in more convenient areas. Finally, because of the size most guests are friendly.
