Hotels near Lang Tengah Island in Pulau Lang Tengah

Just came back from LanG Tengah for 3D2N. We were group of 3 staying at D'coconut Lagoon (west wing). The Island - there are only 4 hotels at the island and not all at the same beach. When you reached the island you will be seeing crystal clear water. D'coconut is situated at the other side of the island and you can walk (through the jungle - 5 mins walking) to visit the other resorts / beach. If you want to see baby sharks at night, head to Sari Pacifica's jetty ;) The hospitality - Mr Anuar greeted us upon arriving at the hotel lobby and the staff will helped you with your bags and luggage. The check in process was okay and Mr Anuar will give a short briefing on rules of the hotel and itinerary. The staffs there were very friendly and helpful. The room - we stayed in Cabana rooms. You can see the beach directly from your balcony. We purposely choose this room just for the view. Unfortunately, D'coconut should really pay attention to cleanliness of their resort. Our room was not entirely 'okay' with the price we paid. The bed was so sandy even under the duvet :/ The toilet did not cleaned properly. I think they do not have dedicated housekeepers to take care of the rooms. So we only used the room to sleep at night. The rest of the time, we spent our time outside. The food - they served buffet for all meal with limited choice. However, the food were incredibly delicious! Kudos to the chef and team. Your dining area will be facing the beach, something that you will be misisng once you are back. The beach - since the west wing of the resort only has limited number of rooms, you will hardly see people at the beach. As if you are at the private island. And the beach was so breezy and you will not be sweating because of the breeziness unlike like the other side of the island. You can also kayak if you want. The experience- on our first night, we were lucky we get to see the turtle laying 136 eggs. Tell Mr Anuar to inform you if there is a turtle coming to the island! At lang tengah it is a perfect place for stargazing and seeing blue tears along the beach. Ask the staff to show you around :) You wil get complimentary of 2 snorkeling trips together with the package you signed up. They will also bring you to see the baby sharks near the beach at the summer bay resort. Overall, we had the best time in Lang Tengah. Although it is a small island but you will get a handful of experience throughout your stay. If you are looking for a peaceful and serenity, you should definitely come here. From Redang, Pulau Perhentian this is by far the best island I have experienced.

Sari pacifica review Worst experience ever Price: too expensive for this kind of service. I’ve experience better service and facility with a cheaper price. You would think that with a pricey packaged, the service would be good right? NO Facility: no water for guest, but can switch on fountain and swimming pool. And got water for staff quarters. Food: some are tasteless and bland, some are too salty. No in between one. We rather go out to buy lunch dinner rather eat their food. Staff: Worst front desk staff that they can hire. Im surprised their management hire this kind of people. No hospitality, no manner, no common sense. You should do a re-organisation. No critical thinking, dont know how to handle crisis. Overal experience: Check in and room situation: We arrived at the resort at around 11am. And during the check in, the staff there mention that our room is yet to be ready (and informed that the check in time is actually 3pm) , and they said that they *will inform us by calling my number when the room is ready*. After that, we keep asking them the room status every hour. At our 2nd time asking, they mentioned that there is some maintenance issue that they need to attend to our room, and its not yet ready. So we waited. We waited until 2.30pm, and decided to ask them the room status. And when we asked them for an update at 2.30pm, only they informed us that our room is actually leaking and the maintenance not able to fix it. So they offer us a 2 separate double room (we booked a quad sharing instead of double sharing), they didnt really give us and option, we need to take it because we have been staying outside for almost 4 hours. But even though they offered 2 room, only 1 room is ready, and another room will only be ready at 4 (be mind that the check in time is at 3pm). They didnt even have the courtesy to do as what they say (which is to call me when there is a room or an update about our room), they didnt call me to say oh we have a room ready. So if i didnt go and ask, they will just let us sleep under the sun, in our travel clothing until the sun is set?? 2nd day lunch situation: They refused us our lunch on the second day because quote “oh we will not provide the lunch of the people that go for snorkelling because we have prepared it at Sari Pacifica Lang Tengah. We have prepared the lunch at Sari Pacifica Redang for the exact number of pax that didnt go for snorkelling trip”. Please note ah, the lunch was in a buffet (self service), so how can a 4 person eat until finished everything? At 9.20am the same morning, i already informed the snorkelling centre guy that our group will not join for lunch. And also at 12pm, just before lunch, we took our new room key Winnie, the front desk manager also aware that we didnt go for snorkelling trip. And when we make a complaint through our agent, they defended that we need to inform them (front desk) if we dont want to go for snorkelling. But their management also said that, the snorkellin

Amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely go back at some point and can’t wait. It was heaven on earth. The views, the beach the sea are worth every Penny. Absolutely amazing. But the staff are wonderful. So friendly, helpful and kind. Everyone of them. The rooms are brilliant. Nice and fresh and clean, Amazing size. Great design a vibe to the whole place. This is my third time staying at Mimpi Perhentian. It is sad to share that my experience this round is the worst as compared to the first two trips. There is no toiletries refill after the room was made up because the items are out of stock. I do understand that it closing season soon because of the monsoon. However, I did pay for the room at full price. Why do I have to be the collateral damage of the weather? The bed sheet and comforter have a smell which is caused by the sheet not drying properly. On my fourth day, the room was not made up when I returned to my room at noon. I called the front desk and told them to give me a new set of towels and omit the housekeeping. At around 4pm, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door and wanted to make up the room. Hence I am not sure if they have initially forgotten to make my room or if they only have one staff to do housekeeping. On top of that, I had a rude encounter with the restaurant manager. I went diving daily at 8am hence I have made a special request to pack my breakfast (which is included in the room package) and I will collect it at noon time. On the first day, the packed food portion was too little so I requested extra fruits on the second day with the restaurant manager in the morning. She said ok and when I collected my food at noon, it was not packed. Hence I asked the waitress on duty to pack it for me instead. On the third day, I saw the same restaurant manager again and I explained to her that she didn’t pack the extra fruits for me. She said I was not allowed to pack the food after I have eaten at the restaurant. I told her that I go diving at 8am, and I have never sat down to eat. She started to raise her voice and told me that I cannot pack the extra fruits because customers are only allowed to have one portion of fruits (which looks like a portion for a child). Which I find ridiculous because I get to dine an unlimited portion if I dine in. Furthermore, I did not request the packed food for fun. I will have digestive problems if I eat and dive. The restaurant manager was not only rude and inconsiderate, it is most disappointing that she judged me when all I did was take care of my health so that I can enjoy my dives and holiday.

I would like to choose it even though I had a defect for the good position and because I did not see anything better to kiss. The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable and was very comfortable. The photo showed one of the rooms that were renovated for a few years, and we were given the old type, and when they arrived we had to get our baggage, we had to get to our chalet. We stayed for a few nights in Aprill, Best hotel we stayed in ,it was so clean,and the staff were so friendly,i didnt want to leave !!! My 2 children age 5 and 7 said it was “The best holtel !!!” With your own swimming pool , Its right on the beach surround by lush jungle and wildlife ,we saw so many tropical fish too right infront of the hotel , Plus turtles !!! Ive already booked to go back in August for the price its worth it,and the restaurant on sight has a good menu highly reccomend “red beef”

The best resort ever. From jetty service was awesome. If you choose boat transfer from bubu, no need to share with other resort passenger, only bubu guest only. The luggage will be arranged by them. Just bring on your own things. Then when going back, you no need to q like others. Just wait at lobby, wait for the boat arrived! From check in until check out, their staff so cheerful! The breakfast was awesome with the beach view! Surely will repeat after this.

1. We had a great time on the boat, the snorkelling trip, and the view was amazing. We checked in on Thursday, and we felt like having the resort to our own. The resort became busier on Friday & Saturday. 2. Booking, checking in & out was quick and hassle-free. 3. The resort is near to the jetty; therefore, we did not have to walk very far. 4. The quality of the food was above average. Foods were cooked deliciously. The buffet choice was plenty, considering the COVID-19 pandemic. 5. The resort facilities, however, could use several improvements: 1. The room should be maintained regularly. The management cannot depend on complaints from the guests alone. Have a regular inspection and repair program. 2. Housekeeping is basic. Toiletries (shampoo) still contains Methylparaben. 3. The bathroom is huge, it should have a physical separation between the shower area 7 the toilet to avoid the bathroom floor from getting wet. 4. The hot water is only available during the day when solar power is abundant. 5. There were no TV channels. After some troubleshooting, we still got no TV, and we were advised to change our suite. At the new suite, we still got no TV. Then the staff at the Reception explained that the antenna was struck by lightning. The staff could have been truthful in the first place. 6. We noticed some rubbish was left at a spot without proper disposal. We also saw a giant lizard rummaging the trash. This poses a health & safety hazard. 6. Compliance to COVID-19 SOP: 1. No temperature screening equipment. 2. Staffs were not wearing face masks/face shields at any time we were there. 3. No movement control/physical distancing during the breakfast buffet. The staff must take proactive controls; they cannot depend on the guests because they were hungry. This resort is a best-seller, but please proceed with caution.

The hotel prices in Laguna Beach are relatively more expensive. After all, this is the most representative long beach in Redang Island. The snorkeling spots are relatively concentrated, and it is also the most lively area in Redang Island. Seven days and six nights in Redang Island, the third and fourth nights stayed here, which was also the hotel with the worst experience. The hardware is not as good as the price of Redang Island Resort, especially the toilet, the water storage system is not tight, so the noise at night is relatively large and affects the rest. Although I contacted the staff three times to make adjustments, but still did not solve it. Although breakfast is included, breakfast is what the third picture looks like. The advantage is that the location is very good, 30 meters away from Long beach, the attitude of the waiters are very good. Each room is divided into upper and lower floors and can accommodate up to five people, suitable for poor travel. However, climbing up is more difficult, and the upper partition is lower. The upper sleeper is always worried about turning over and falling down at night.

I had a nice one night stay here. The staff were very helpful and assisted me in explaining how to get to the island from Marina Duyong and I was also able to buy my return ticket from reception which was helpful. In addition, they allowed me to pay for all meals through online transfer, which I was grateful for as I hadn’t brought cash. Travel to and from the resort to the jetty was available for an extra RM20. The food was good - I had the scrambled eggs, pancakes, Chinese fried rice and nasi goreng ayam. The room had everything I needed and was clean. There was a public beach around 10-15 minute walk from the resort and it was very quiet but stunning. I was a little bit unlucky with the weather as it rained more or less the entire time I was there apart from on the morning I left where I managed to grab some photos.
