We had an amazing stay at excellence Punta Cana- our favorite part was the staff. Everyone was wonderful and made the experience even greater than expected. We LOVED anderson( sexy chocolate) (his nickname), Evelyn (queenie), Luis (coca cola), and Antonio (yoga instructor) and the amazing tennis pro coach! We will be sad to leave them! There are so many activities daily you will never be bored! The resort is very well kept , clean and great food. Couldn’t recommend enough to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation . We will be back!!!! Thank you!!!🌺🌴🍍💕

This is good place to recharge. Beutiful grounds, clean and conveniently located clean rooms, friendly stuff.

Excellent resort with fabulous staff who would bend over backwards to make you feel at home. Lovely long beach which is cleaned of sea**** every day. Bars everywhere and a la carte restaurants to suite every pallet, but when there for two weeks the choices become too repetitive. Main restaurant is The Kitchen. Lots of variety. Our favourite bar was Prelude bar by the beach with the happiest staff smiling and treating us like family all the time. Only disappointment was that the toilets should be cleaned more often as more people were using them during the day. Great evening entertainment. Good shows and variety. Usually starting with different music shows for listening or dancing to from 8.30pm followed by the main show at 9.30pm. We had so much fun there, would definitely return.

We arrived on the 29th April 2024. Transfer was quick as was the check in. We were very impressed with the room and the standards of cleanliness were consistently high during our stay. The resort is beautiful, especially the area at the front of the hotel, which had lots of interesting wildlife. The beach was long and looked fantastic. However, there was only only a day out of 10 whereby a yellow flag was flown. We tended to walk off site and around the bend to a more safer swimming environment. The beach bar staff were very amenable and friendly although we did not make use of the waiter service, preferring to walk ourselves to get a drink. The restaurants were very hit and miss in terms of service and food. Infact, we never received a quick and accurate service until day 6 of our holiday . We would often be left sitting waiting for service, and at one point, a head waiter asked us if we had enjoyed our dinner when we still hadn't received it. The staff were consistently busy and appeared over stretched. I would also note that my husband was refused entry to the breakfast buffet as he was wearing a sleeveless vest. He was instructed to put on a sleeved t-shirt in order to return. I would dare to say than in today's society, this was a sexist attitude. During our stay we encountered many women in wet swimsuits and the minimalist of coverups with all their assets on show, but they were never asked to cover up. We have travelled to many carribean resorts and this is the first hotel which has displayed this inconsistent instruction to their guests. We enquired about the cost of a couples massage but were blown away by the cost on site. Instead, we went to Nancy's shack on the beach, which was clean and tidy, and gave a great massage for a much more reasonable price. In conclusion, a great looking hotel with friendly staff but not so great food or restaurant service.

Excellence Punta Cana was everything we could've hoped for and more! The room was very nice and maintained perfectly throughout our stay. All the service - room service, waiters at the restaurants, the staff pool- and beach-side, the concierge, and front desk employees were all incredibly helpful and attentive! The accomodations were beautiful and we had the most amazing time. Can't wait to come back someday!

Went to Punta Cana for the first time and stayed at Excellence. Loved having activities to do throughout the day. The staff did an amazing job to make sure we were accommodated and had everything we needed. Did the yoga/stretching lessons with Antonio and he was amazing! Tennis lessons were also incredible with the tennis pro - he was amazing! The event staff - sexy chocolate (Anderson), coca cola (luis), and of course, Queen Evelyn - made our stay extra special. Can't thank them enough for treating us like family and their hospitality! You can tell the staff works very hard and they are extremely passionate about making sure the guests have a wonderful time. Would highly recommend coming back!

When they say Excellence Punta Cana is all inclusive they are not just talking about food and beverages. This resort is also the total package for entertainment. From mornings at the pool with Shaggy to evenings in the theater with Chocolate, Kiki, and the beautiful Queen Evelyn there is fun for everyone. We can not wait till our next visit.
