This was the worst experience ever... I flew into the Dominican Republic on a Friday, checked into Riu, and checked out on the same day. It was absolutely disgusting; the staff were prejudiced, and I still haven't received any of my money back, even though I prepaid for a week. I've emailed their reservations depar**ent and complaints depar**ent. They said it would take 24 business days to investigate without my refund, then they'll process my refund. The call center is rude, the liquor tasted like metal, and as you can see below, my bedspread was completely unsanitary. This ordeal has made me hesitant about traveling. I had to book an emergency taxi and flight out of the country. It was the worst experience of my life, and I still don't have my money, lol.
