Personally I would not recommend, I have traveled in this area before and expected better. The food was ok, room looks better in pictures, bed was not comfortable. If you want to enjoy your stay at Punta Cana, please do your research thoroughly.

We were 100% satisfied with this resort. Food was excellent and there was variety. Staff were courteous and served drinks on the beach, at pool side and around the resort during evening entertainment. Entertainment was great! Lots of karaoke but good variety and something for everyone. Rooms were cleaned each morning with an evening checkin. We stayed in adult club and it was well worth the extra fee. We heard that vendors on the beach were pushy, but we found them to be polite, friendly, respectful and yes, somewhat persistent. We will return!

Horrible! They moved us to another hotel that was horrible. Hours to check, 5 out of 10 days no water in the hotel, 2 days no electricity, no drinks in minibar even when asked to refill, 2 restaurants were buffet, 4 needed a reservation by buying a $50 bottle of wine, no pool or beach food or drink service, no lights in hallways that were pitch black at night, no towels for pool and beach. Not sanitary wait staff and bar staff would like their fingers, blow their nose and wipe the sweat and then hand you the silverware, a drink or food. The halls were a mess with dirt and debris. The room we stayed in had loose wires hanging from a hole where the light fixture should be. The shower flooded the room and the separate tub and dirt in it when we arrive and was still there when we left. They cleaned the room twice in 10 days. Management said so what whenever I informed them of no water or electricity. My sister fell and tore ligaments in her knee and ankle due to no lights on the stairs and they did nothing.

Overall, disappointed with the resort. I have been to an all inclusive resort yearly for last decade plus, and have had many different experiences but this was only time I felt compelled to write a review ( HOW IS IT RATED SO HIGH?!). We traveled with a large group. Service extremely inconsistent, a few excellent staff (Genesis, Yeskary), food mediocre though Italian was excellent. The food hours were ridiculous, buffet opens at 1230 for lunch for example, and between 11-1230 nothing is open to eat, with the beach grill sometimes having food around 1145 (even though it's supposed to open at 11). Also, no bars open until 10am for alcohol. We traveled with a big group and they were not accomodating at all. My family, with 2 young kids (1 and 3) requested ground floor room for our double stroller access etc, we didn't get it. No elevators or ramps on the property, their solution was "leave stroller at bottom of the stairs, we have security cameras". Which is pretty much what we did because it is so inconvenient dragging the stroller up the stairs. When it comes to the rooms, woof. We requested King bed, got two double beds that were the most uncomfortable thing I have laid on in years. The air conditioning can barely get it below 23.5, which was pretty much the case for the entire group. Sinks barely drained, toilet barely flushed, shower leaked out to the other side of the wall. The rooms were outdated by a solid 20-30 years. Only one working outlet in the room. House keeping would take multiple days to refill our shampoo. The pools, including the "club member" pool, were gross. Visually looked okay from a distance, but they smell and multiple people in our group had their white bathing suits turn green. There is always a battle to get beach chairs or pool chairs, with some people waking up at 430am to get spots. Wild. And towels are free-for-all, they just put them out and you take them, ran into issue our first day where there were no towels for an hour in either of the locations, with the workers saying "10 minutes" every time for 2 hours straight. The beach. Sea**** cleaned frequently, but beach chairs so difficult to get, people were waking up 430 am, going to beach chairs leaving their stuff and going back to bed. The water in the location is very murky (they can't control that, still disappointing). Plenty of cigarette butts on the beach everywhere. Club member is not worth it at all. Only benefit that's worthwhile is you can check in in the VIP room. The finger food you have access to is the same stuff that's in the buffet. The vip bar is limited in what they can make, but does have the best staff.

My friends and I had a great time at Jewel Palm Beach. The vibes team was the best entertainment, especially Rodrigo🥰! We loved the karaoke. They made our vacation perfect. All of the hotel staff were hardworking and kind and the views were spectacular.

I had very high expectations for this resort after reading all of the reviews. Sadly, it was very misleading. This is not a family friendly resort. The meal hours are not appropriate for babies and children. Lunch is not readily available until after 12pm and the restaurants for dinner do not open until 6pm (buffet 6:30pm). When we went to the a la carte restaurants right for 6pm the service was incredibly slow. Once we were given a children’s menu but never again after that. Multiple requests to feed two 1 year olds and a 3 year old quickly before the adults ordered, were ignored. Getting juice for the children at restaurants was nearly impossible. For example on our last day at the Two Palms grill we had asked 5 times within 30 minutes to get juice for the children. We kept getting told 5 minutes. The waiter walking around with a pitcher of juice ignored our requests for juice and walked away from our table. Eventually, as we were fed up, I got up to get the juice myself from the server’s station as we were left with 2 crying babies after 30 mins without a drink. The Club level is not worth it unless you plan to use room service a lot which we had to do in order to keep our babies fed. Most of our breakfast and lunches were room service which surprisingly was some of the best food. (The breakfast at the buffet was always stale so we decided to stay away from it.) Anyone can use all of the other club amenities as nothing is tracked and there are no wristbands. Forget about getting towels as it is a free for all and shady spots at the beach are nearly impossible to get unless you go out at 5am to reserve them. The sand on the beach is filled with cigarette butts and garbage, the ocean has a steep drop off and is on the rougher side for children, the water is also murky from all of the boats in the area. The workers work very hard to keep the sea**** cleaned up. The beach is full of people selling things who will approach the children and babies directly and dangle toys in front of them trying to force the parents to have to buy something. It is difficult to relax as you always have to be on guard for this. Since shade was hard to come by at the beach, we would often opt for the pools as you could request an umbrella if there weren’t any left. Unfortunately the pools smell of urine and dyed our bathing suits green. When we told someone about this they only scooped some debris out of the pool. It does not seem like there are any chemicals to keep the pools sanitary. The children’s play area was outside the front of the resort, as far away as possible from the main area and about a 10 minute walk from the club rooms. We didn’t use these facilities as it was too far and hot for babies. The children’s entertainment team that walked around the resort were very friendly and made sure to remember everyone’s names. Most staff were very rude and would roll their eyes or sigh at requests, especially in the cafe or at the pool bar. We are big tippers so

Service was above the level but not the quality of the rooms, food and liquor drinks . The rooms need improvement specially the furniture, bed, decorations. Better pillows and bed mattress. Problems to flush toilet. I had to change rooms I two occasions because of bad odor and faulty safe box. At the lobby main desk, decoration’s was obsolete. Everything else was good.
