Overall, disappointed with the resort. I have been to an all inclusive resort yearly for last decade plus, and have had many different experiences but this was only time I felt compelled to write a review ( HOW IS IT RATED SO HIGH?!). We traveled with a large group. Service extremely inconsistent, a few excellent staff (Genesis, Yeskary), food mediocre though Italian was excellent. The food hours were ridiculous, buffet opens at 1230 for lunch for example, and between 11-1230 nothing is open to eat, with the beach grill sometimes having food around 1145 (even though it's supposed to open at 11). Also, no bars open until 10am for alcohol. We traveled with a big group and they were not accomodating at all. My family, with 2 young kids (1 and 3) requested ground floor room for our double stroller access etc, we didn't get it. No elevators or ramps on the property, their solution was "leave stroller at bottom of the stairs, we have security cameras". Which is pretty much what we did because it is so inconvenient dragging the stroller up the stairs. When it comes to the rooms, woof. We requested King bed, got two double beds that were the most uncomfortable thing I have laid on in years. The air conditioning can barely get it below 23.5, which was pretty much the case for the entire group. Sinks barely drained, toilet barely flushed, shower leaked out to the other side of the wall. The rooms were outdated by a solid 20-30 years. Only one working outlet in the room. House keeping would take multiple days to refill our shampoo. The pools, including the "club member" pool, were gross. Visually looked okay from a distance, but they smell and multiple people in our group had their white bathing suits turn green. There is always a battle to get beach chairs or pool chairs, with some people waking up at 430am to get spots. Wild. And towels are free-for-all, they just put them out and you take them, ran into issue our first day where there were no towels for an hour in either of the locations, with the workers saying "10 minutes" every time for 2 hours straight. The beach. Sea**** cleaned frequently, but beach chairs so difficult to get, people were waking up 430 am, going to beach chairs leaving their stuff and going back to bed. The water in the location is very murky (they can't control that, still disappointing). Plenty of cigarette butts on the beach everywhere. Club member is not worth it at all. Only benefit that's worthwhile is you can check in in the VIP room. The finger food you have access to is the same stuff that's in the buffet. The vip bar is limited in what they can make, but does have the best staff.
