BEWARE OF THIS RESORT! JEWELRY WAS STOLEN. Upon checking out on our last day, I noticed my Diamond bracelet, earrings, and ring was missing. We spoke with the front desk and they came up to the room with security to do a “check” and “report” they of course found nothing and assured us that it was very detailed process. Jordi- rooms division manager (should be fired) has not bothered to contact us after many attempted calls & emails, and leaving messages with the front desk. We haven’t seen a copy of this report either. This is a luxury resort where you go on vacation to relax and you book with these types of hotels to not worry about your items to be stolen by room service. There’s absolutely no customer service. I would definitely spend my vacation and money elsewhere. 0 out of 10.

We first came to this hotel over Chris**as 2023. We liked it so much, we returned. We are seasoned travelers, and have visited the DR several times, including a stay at Casa de Campo. So we have some ability to compare. The property, surrounded by nature, is very lush. The decor is a soothing mix of natural and contemporary— including the large, renovated rooms. The pool is huge and the beach is simply gorgeous. But the warm staff is among the top reasons we returned. On arrival, we were greeted by Vincent, who actually remembered us and offered a warm, “Welcome back Family!” Miguel at the front desk was another welcome face. Jenda and other front desk staff were kind and helpful. Big shout out to the Room Service team. Emanuel, Gustavo, Yuly, Mike, Miguel, Daria Julia. So kind and eager to serve. We loved dining at The Grill. Kudos to Chef Jahvre! (Sp?) The whole grilled snapper, the flatbreads, the arancini, the fresh salads were all terrific, with a lovely ocean view. Thank you Felix, Gustavo and Emile for your warm service. While they work invisibly, the housekeeping staff kept our room impeccably clean! And lastly, we want to express our appreciation for Issa. Every day he worked HARD raking the beach of what ****s had washed ashore to keep it as pristine as you will ever see! Thank you Issa!! This place does feel like home away from home to us, which is high on our list of what makes a hotel feel special to us. We certainly hope to be back!
