I don't want to be too negative, because in the end, my family had a wonderful Spring vacation in Punta Cana. Our room was spacious and the buffet restaurant was good with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort was also very accommodating to kids. However, there is construction on one side of the resort which is separated by a bamboo fence and there is sewer water running under the bamboo, causing the entire side of the resort to smell like sewer water. It was really bad. The front desk appeared to be understaffed and phone calls to them were often unanswered. During our stay the internet went out for approximately 24 hrs and the staff couldn't provide any updates or estimated time the situation would resolve. We ate 2 nights at the a-la-carte restaurants, but the service was too slow, especially with little kids, and orders ended up wrong or missing altogether. After the second disappointing night we agreed to go to the buffet each night for dinner. Fortunately, there was enough variety to keep things enjoyable there. The general consensus, in talking to other guest, was that everyone felt it was a very "affordable" resort. Given the price, I'm not overly disappointed with the experience, but we won't be returning.

Beautiful place to stay, but the service in front desk is not friendly, the guys who work there don’t have a good service attitude, I got a really bad time trying to get check out lat because my flight was delayed and we needed a place to stay, definitely I think this hotel has many good things except the front desk staff

Had a terrific time here would definitely come back. The service is amazing here and people are very friendly. The bartenders treated us great. Especially Blandino! Had some issues with the AC but service guy came right away and fixed the issue! They are very efficient! Food is great drinks are better!

We travelled with a group of friends and family in mid April. The staff at this resort are amazing, not rude at all, engaging and super fun. Coca-cola and Stephanie, you two are the best!! We had so much fun with you both, hopefully you are there when we return lol. Thank you for making our week so fun with two of the moms having birthdays while we were there! I didn’t catch many names of the bar staff but Aerial was fantastic and all the bar staff tried their very best to accommodate any drink requests you had! The food was fine, you could always find something to eat. The omelette station in the Buffett in the morning was really good. The sports bar was our go to along with the food truck on the beach. Their hamburgers were delicious. Our room was nice but if you are shy, bring a shower curtain to put over the window into the shower that you can see from the beds lol. The beach was beautiful! It was the season for the sargassum so there was sea**** in the water but being from the East Coast of Canada, it didn’t bother us. There was always spots that were clear, the sand bar for example but it is very shallow. The staff worked so hard raking it up as it came in to keep it off the beach, it was impressive. The “sewage” smell, I’m assuming, is fertilizer to stay their plants during the day. While is spraying it’s a bit smelly but it dries within seconds and you can’t smell it after that, I didn’t find. All in all, we had a great stay. Looking to book with my family again next year! Amy
