Mayfair Waves

This is our 3rd stay in Mayfair Heritage. Every time we visit Puri, this is the only place that we are most comfortable in. The hospitality and service is top notch. All the staff are super helpful and friendly especially Mr. Ashok who is very mindful of guest’s needs. Overall, it’s always a good experience here!

Manmay is an amazing person. He made sure that our family had a very good experience ***** with good food. He recommended amazing dishes. Ashok is also amazing, he gave is sweets. Amazinggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggghggggggghhgggggggg!!!!!!!!

Best service, food and ocean

Excellent stay, mediocre food Pluses of our stay were -- the rooms are very spacious and well maintained, housekeeping was good. Ambience is very good and the staff are very polite. Cons was the quality of service in the Samudra restaurant. The staff seem rather new and green. They were not as efficient and prompt as I have experienced in other hotels belonging to the same category. We ordered some biryani for lunch and I could see the food arrived and sat on the counter for almost 10 minutes before it was brought to the table. At breakfast the staff seemed to get confused and would confirm orders multiple times. I asked for filter coffee and was told that it is available, waited for 10 mins and then when I asked again was told that it was not available!! Someone could have easily come and told me it wasn't there and I would have asked for something else. Also except for the chicken biryani, the rest of the food, especially the breakfast spread was rather mediocre, especially if one compares it to the Mayfair Bhubaneswar food which is excellent. Also I was disappointed with our room. I had booked 2 months in advance and had asked for a beach view room. What they gave us had a beach view from one part of the balcony only. When I asked for a full beach view room they said that they were fully booked. I wish they had said that when I booked and I would have relooked at my dates for stay. So overall a rather mixed experience - mostly pleasant, relaxing, but the hotel really needs to up its food.

We had an extremely delightful experience staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms as well as the hotel on the whole were immaculate. It has easy access to the private beach; the hotel has lifeguards to assist you to swim if you need help. The indoor swimming pool was spotless. The food was excellent. Overall, a very good hotel to relax; you get your money's worth. I will fully recommend this hotel.

As a frequent luxury traveler, I approached my stay at Mayfair Waves with high expectations, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown. Despite the steep room rates, the quality was anything but premium. From worn-out room features, like barely functional charging plugs, to an uninspired food experience, the promise of luxury was lost. Service was subpar and required consistent follow-ups to meet basic needs—hardly reflective of a high-end establishment. While a kind gesture by Pramod to upgrade me to a better room on the last day offered a stunning beach view and added a glimmer of positivity, it was far too late to salvage the overall experience. Even the mandatory 9 AM checkout left a sour note, disrupting what could have been a restful conclusion. Overall, the hype doesn't justify the cost. True luxury is about more than just aesthetics; it’s about seamless service, attention to detail, and value for money—sadly, Mayfair Waves missed the mark on all counts.
