Location is weird, doesn't feel like there's too much local. I was here for only the 2 days. Cannot fault the cleanliness or the facilities. The service was a little frustrating, having to pay extra to get access to my room earlier, then of course knowing that the room is already ready for me. The same could be found on check out.

I spent a very pleasant week at Oonas Dive Club from 8 to 15 October 2023. I have been there many times before. Three dives a day are available from the splendid Club boat, which glories in the name of OBI WAN. The boat's captain and crew are superb; the dive guides highly professional and unfailingly helpful. One leaves the very well managed Dive Centre by minibus at about 8am, returning around 5pm. Luncheon is available on the boat, and very good it is too! Oonas provides accommodation, food and drink of a good standard at the Club, with the staff being friendly and efficient. One's fellow divers are an eclectic bunch who make for interesting company. While most are from the United Kingdom, other nationalities add flavour to the mix. Age and experience range widely and everyone gets on commendably well. My only slightly negative comment concerns the noise of outdoor entertainment from about 9pm to midnight, provided by an entirely separate establishment about 200 metres away. But I am an ancient diver who is a light sleeper and goes to bed early. Younger folk may well enjoy such excitements and, of course, item three of the dive/eat/sleep routine on the boat can compensate for any deficit. In short, if you want shore-based day-boat diving in Egypt, you cannot get better than wonderful Oonas!

It is near old market, walking around 20 min. Room is ok, but not kind of other resort hotels. We stay short rest for midnight flight.

The environment is good, the location is excellent, and the price is high! A perfect stay experience! Serious and sincere service, really good, very warm, highly recommended, I will book this next time I come!

6-16.12.23 Hotel 4: Everywhere old furniture, fresh paint, small customized area, 2 pool. They are cleaned well. Excellent location for walking lovers, lots of shops, mango 😋. To the beach 2km and to the old city 3km, you can walk. No animations! The day of the flies, by evening small evil mosquitoes, the territory is not processed. The hotel is not big and the people are small, so there was no push and there was no queue in the dining room, a bunch of free tables. Food 4: not very diverse food, at least ”meat” or fish, but everything is very delicious, fruits are green duck and very delicious orange. Bar 4: alcohol strong without limits, wine is not available, beer 1 bottle per person) Sea 5: excellent, There are a lot of interesting things to see, swim and dive. Beach 2: It's the only thing that disappoints, few or no places and you have to ask for a bed place, lying like a chair in a plane, tight, slippery stones, It is desirable in the corals, shower and toilet is not! Overdressing - the breadth ... Total estimate 4 points from 5, for 3* is very decent, with a good beach I would put 5.
