Choosing this hotel for its location not far from the airport and also its access to other areas of Qingdao without the traffic problems of the cbd. The hotel is well equipped with all the requirements for business or pleasure. The staff are attentive and very helpful a special mention to Manager Mr Leo who's English is excellent helping me navigate the city and transfer from the hotel to the airport and back. Breakfast has the needs of all cuisines the most important requirement for me was the coffee. From Melbourne we are spoilt and the coffee used was equally as good a great plus. The only disappointment for me was the gym didn't open till 9am far to late in my opinion most days I had left the hotel by 8.30am and missed out on using the gym completely. It was well equipped too. Staying here one could not be disappointed with anything

I am so happy to stay at this hotel. Room is big, clean with ocean view. Nice breakfast and good customer service. My sister will come in June and stay at this hotel. We will come back again.

Hotel is nice. The environment is so pretty. We hope to be there again some day. Good location, nice setting, very hospitality as well. It's a pity we do not have time to have breakfast. But I do believe it should be good too.

Too far from city center. Having / renting a car was a must. - Amenities as well are not what it looks like: “outdoor swimming pool” is actually a decoration pool so no swimming allowed…

During the May Day holiday, I stayed at the Galaxy Hotel, which had very good hardware conditions and a quiet location. Opposite the hotel was a first-line sea view and a small beach with pleasant scenery. The dining and swimming pool were great. There were also the World Trade Center and Longhu commercial complexes within five kilometers, which was very convenient for self-driving guests to eat and take their kids out! The key is that the hotel's service was really considerate. Seeing that I brought my child, I upgraded to an executive room for free. Leo Liu, the head of the housekeeping department, saw that the child brought small octopuses and crabs, and walked a long way to help us get sea water. His small fish and crabs could survive, and the child was particularly excited. The next day, Leo Liu also gave us travel advice and planned the itinerary, which touched me very much! I will stay at Galaxy Bay again next time I come to Qingdao. It is worth recommending!

The main reason for choosing Qingdao Star River Hotel is that I have stayed at Beijing Star River Hotel, and I believe that Star River Hotel has consistent quality, and it is indeed as expected. I recommend parents who bring their children to Qingdao to play with confidence (I was during the May Day holiday, and this holiday is especially recommended). This time, I am grateful to the hotel for upgrading the sea view room for me. We also paid special attention to the time of high tide and low tide here, and took advantage of the low tide to dig shells and conchs. This May Day caught up with good weather, not too cold or too hot, and I enjoyed it very much.

The hotel is located by the sea. We checked in late and were upgraded to a deluxe sea view room. The room was very nice and cozy, with a great view. The sea view at night and during the day was very beautiful. The hotel is very close to the beach in just a few minutes. It is very relaxing to walk around the beach. I highly recommend this hotel

The view was great, the location was great, and the service was the best. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and the facilities are clean. There was also a bathtub, so I could comfortably take a half-body bath.
