Barony Park Hotel Qingdao Airport
"Nice location, facility and service. Direct connected to Departure lobby in 300 meters. Highly recommend to the travelers who want to catch the flight in the morning."
Qingdao Haitian Hotel
"Jiaodong Airport is really far. My flight landed at 9:30 PM, and I didn't get to the hotel until 11:30 PM. When I arrived, I met Ariane (Ms. Wang). I had originally booked a small sea-view suite, but after discussing it, she upgraded me to a 270-degree sea-view room. It turned out to be a great decision; the view from the room was fantastic, and I could enjoy the ocean right from my bed. After checking in, I added Ms. Wang on WeChat. She was incredibly responsive for room cleaning and bringing requested items, which was very convenient. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of dishes, but it was too crowded. The next day, I decisively opted for the Executive Lounge on the 30th floor. Although there were fewer options, the experience was much better, and the views were great too. The scent in the lobby was pleasant, but a bit too strong; I'd suggest making it a little lighter. I'll definitely choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao again on my next visit."
Haiyi International Apartment
"We arrived at the apartment quite late, around 1am, feeling exhausted. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a staff member with a rather rude attitude, which left us with a poor first impression. The apartment is spacious and can comfortably accommodate five of us. However, it is visibly aged, with noticeable wear and tear in several areas. The sea view from the window is pleasant, although it is not a full 180-degree view as it is partially blocked by another tower. Cutlery was not provided in the unit and had to be requested from the front desk, which was a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, the service is generally good. A robot delivers meal orders directly to the unit, and parcels can also be received at the lobby, although guests need to collect them personally. On two occasions when I had to leave early and was unable to attend breakfast, I requested a takeaway option, and they kindly prepared boiled eggs and fruits, which was much appreciated. The location is strategic and within walking distance to May Fourth Station, MIXC Mall, and May Fourth Square. Overall, it was a good stay despite a few shortcomings."
Floral Hotel·Qiyue Hotel (Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center May 4th Plaza store)
"Aside from being in a great location with a spectacular view, this place was clean, comfortable and well serviced. The host is responsive and very helpful! Highly recommend staying here."
Atour Hotel Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport
"The hotel room was quite large; even two people would have been very comfortable. The girls who checked me in at reception were very, very friendly. I only used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was fine, but I couldn't use the airport pickup service; they didn't respond on time. My Chinese isn't very good at calling the hotel directly and making requests. So I would recommend that they be more careful in that regard. (they replied after I had left😆) Overall, the cleanliness was very good. The only issue is that they don't seem to clean the glass wall in the bathroom very often; I hadn't even used it yet and it was already dirty. And just one recommendation: the tea they left in the room was delicious, and I learned that in Chinese culture they don't use sugar in tea. But I'm not Chinese, and I do need something sweet 😁😅😆 They could add a small cookie or something sweet for those of us who need something sweet."
Atour Hotel Qingdao May Fourth Square City Hall
"Very satisfied with this hotel! It's just a few minutes' walk from both the subway station and the beach, which is incredibly convenient. They offer local breakfast, and my child absolutely loved their shrimp noodles every day – they were so delicious!"
Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square)
"A great hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are very helpful, especially Miss Zhao Cuiling who was extremely helpful."
Qingdao Xunji Homestay
"Excellent service, very satisfied."
MGM Qingdao
"I came here for my birthday and had already communicated with Butler Elly in advance. On the day of check-in, as soon as I opened the door, a birthday welcome setup was prepared for me, complete with a little lion cake, fruit, and balloons! In the afternoon, I also participated in a hotel crafting activity, which I really enjoyed. Elly's responses were very efficient, and I bothered her many times, haha, big thumbs up!!"

Atour Hotel Qingdao Zhanqiao Ocean View
"Super nice, especially the breakfast! There's a wide variety of delicious food, all you can eat."
Crystal Orange Qingdao Taidong Pedestrian Street
"The room was clean and tidy, spacious and bright, with a practical layout and complete facilities. The breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted great. There's an underground parking garage which is convenient and free. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. It's also very close to the Tsingtao Beer Museum and Taitung Pedestrian Street. Definitely recommend booking this place."
Atour Hotel Qingdao Hai'er Road Shilaoren Beach
"Atour Hotel, as always, provides a reassuring and heartwarming experience. The hotel environment is elegant and quiet, and the rooms are meticulously cleaned, with every corner spotless. The mattress and pillows are incredibly comfortable, allowing for a quick and relaxing sleep after a long day. The staff are warm and attentive, responding promptly to any needs, and offering comforting porridge or drinks in the evening. The breakfast is well-balanced with a variety of meat and vegetable options, making it nutritious and delicious. The public areas are quiet and elegant, perfect for reading or relaxing, and well-equipped. The overall atmosphere is comfortable and therapeutic, instantly dispelling travel fatigue. It offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended. I will definitely choose Atour again next time."
Qingdao May Fourth Square Olympic Sailing Center Hampton by Hilton Hotel
"The room was clean and the service was attentive. It's a good hotel. Facilities: Decent. Environment: Decent. Service: Good, very good service. I will definitely stay here again next time."
Le Méridien Qingdao
"Let's start with the positives. The service was excellent, especially the front desk, concierge, and the glasses-wearing cleaner on the 29th floor – they were all wonderful. Items I requested were delivered very promptly, and the breakfast selection was varied and tasty. Now for the many negatives. The 29th floor is supposedly the executive floor, but which executive lounge is located directly opposite a guest room? The hallway smelled rancid, which was really off-putting. The room itself was very outdated with poor facilities. Some TV channels lost sound intermittently, and the ancient hairdryer was frankly ridiculous. One of the sinks was completely clogged; washing my face, brushing my teeth, or washing my hands resulted in incredibly slow drainage – it was practically unusable. Please fix it! The room occasionally smelled faintly of urine. I was given a north-facing room, which was chilly even without the air conditioning on."
Sheraton Qingdao Licang Hotel (North Station Branch)
"I had a very satisfying stay. What surprised me most was how close the hotel is to Qingdao North Station, which is incredibly convenient for guests traveling by high-speed rail. The lilies in the lobby were beautiful, and the front desk service was very warm and efficient. They responded quickly to any questions I had and even proactively upgraded my room. After check-in, the concierge voluntarily helped me with my luggage and registered my car plate. The room was very spacious with large floor-toceiling windows, making it very bright. The layout was well-designed, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plus a bathtub, which was just perfect. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. Looking out from the room, there's an artificial lake park, and the room itself was very quiet, so it was lovely to take a stroll in the morning or evening. The hotel breakfast was also quite good, with a wide variety of dishes and delicious flavors. The weather in Qingdao in the morning wasn't hot, so enjoying breakfast outdoors was very pleasant. I also visited the gym and the pool; the pool was large and the water was very clean – a great experience. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and the stay experience was superb. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone."
The St. Regis Qingdao
"The sea view from the window was beautiful! The original room I booked had noise from other guests at night. After I reported it, they upgraded me to a suite, which was fantastic service. The hotel is also conveniently located close to all the attractions. The breakfast spread looked quite extensive, but the taste was just so-so."
Qingdao Haiyi Sailing Hotel
"The only good thing about this hotel is its location and view. STAY AWAY! The hygiene is appalling, the service is terrible, and the facilities are outdated. Avoid this hotel! My stay was absolutely dreadful, completely undeserving of its Ctrip rating. From hygiene to service to facilities, everything was subpar, severely impacting my travel mood. I definitely do not recommend it and would never stay here again! The hygiene issues were shocking, providing absolutely no sense of security. The pillows were covered in large, unidentifiable yellow stains on both sides – the bedding hygiene was disgusting. Stains were everywhere on the sofa and carpet, clearly indicating a lack of thorough cleaning for a long time. It simply didn't meet basic hygiene standards for a stay, offering no health or safety assurance. I felt uncomfortable and disgusted throughout my entire stay. The dining experience was a sham, with no proper sit-down dining whatsoever. The restaurant environment was old and dilapidated, completely unfit to be called a dining area. No dishes were freshly prepared or stir-fried; all the hot food on the buffet was cold and hard, neither fresh nor palatable. Paying money to eat cold food was an extremely poor experience. Frequent facility breakdowns made travel incredibly inconvenient. The hotel only has two guest elevators, and one was broken and under repair. We had to rely on a single elevator for going up and down, waiting a long time during peak hours, which severely impacted our efficiency. Extremely poor problem-solving ability and unsatisfactory service. Upon entering, there was no bellhop to help with luggage; it was entirely self-service with no one paying attention. After reporting hygiene and facility issues, the butler and duty manager showed an extreme lack of service awareness and problem-solving ability. I never saw the housekeeping supervisor – it's hard to understand how the rooms could be managed to be this dirty. I sincerely warn all prospective guests: please thoroughly check the cleanliness of the bedding, bathroom, and other items. Don't waste your money on a frustrating stay! With such hygiene, service, and facilities, this place doesn't deserve to be called a proper hotel. AVOID!"
Qingdao Xinshatan Coast Holiday Hotel
"I chose Xinsan Beach Resort Hotel for my trip to Qingdao this time, and it exceeded my expectations! The environment is absolutely stunning – just a few steps from the beach, so you can see the sea as soon as you step outside. Evening strolls by the sea were incredibly therapeutic, and the hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, perfect for photos. The room amenities were complete, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a wide view. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom and air conditioning all worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and efficient with check-in, responding promptly to any requests – attentive without being intrusive. The cleanliness was exceptional; every corner of the floors and bathroom was spotless, and the bedding was clean with no strange odors. Daily cleaning was thorough. It offers great value for money, making it ideal for a vacation. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao!"
Grand Regency Hotel
"Pretty good! The hotel is right above the subway, and it's a 10-15 minute walk south to Yanner Island. Taxis to downtown attractions usually take about 10 minutes. The bed was really comfortable, but the central AC wasn't very strong."
Qingdao·Qiyu·Ocean-Loving Azure Vernal Coastal Resort Homestay (Jinshatan Beer City Branch)
"The sea view is absolutely stunning! Seeing the ocean after the morning fog clears is incredibly soothing. It's super close to the beach for sand play and to the beer city. The owner is incredibly nice; he even helped mail my lost item, which made me feel completely trusted! New facilities, excellent service, great location, and fantastic value for money—I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao!"
Bohaiyuan International Apartment (Qingdao May Fourth Square Vientiane City Branch)
"The apartment is right by May Fourth Square, making it super convenient for getting around. The subway station is downstairs, so it's easy to go anywhere, and MixC Mall is right across the street. It's also a sea-view room, and you can see the landmark of May Fourth Square from the balcony. At night, you can even enjoy the night view. We had a great stay, and if we come back to Qingdao, we'll definitely choose this apartment again."
Qingdao Licang Jiahua Hotel
"Great service. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful."
Sea View Garden Hotel
"The room was pretty clean, but the soundproofing wasn't great. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, and the outdoor one uses seawater. Breakfast was quite generous, and they even gave a gift for the kids. My son doesn't like plush toys, so I mentioned it to customer service, and they specially gave him a bunch of conch shells instead."
the Westin Qingdao
"Room: The floor I was on was average. The soundproofing was decent, but the facilities are quite old. The TV was slow to turn on, and the bathtub faucet leaked. Both of the children's playpens provided had holes. Service: The service was very mediocre, I'd even say poor. I've stayed in many hotels, and this Westin really underperformed. Especially the front desk staff during check-in – they didn't provide any basic information about the hotel, like breakfast times or the pool's location. We had two kids, two strollers, luggage, and a bunch of bags, and all the staff completely ignored us. Not one person offered to help. The only positive point was the housekeeping gentleman, who was very diligent and responsible despite all the issues. Breakfast: We booked for three consecutive days and specifically included breakfast. The food selection wasn't very rich, and the service was still bad. On the first morning, a Saturday, we went down around 9 AM and had to queue. With the crowd, the service simply couldn't keep up. We were moved twice, and the young lady at the noodle station was flustered. On the second day, they couldn't even replenish cups and bowls in time, and many dishes weren't refilled after 9:30 AM. We just gave up on breakfast on the third day. All food deliveries were sent to a central locker, and we had to call concierge to have them brought up, which added extra work. For this price, this location, and this service, I'm extremely disappointed. Staying here for three days then moving to the Haitian hotel truly showed me that there's no comparison. The Haitian hotel wins hands down. This is a genuine review; it was so bad that I had to comment. The only benefit for traveling with kids was the heated 'vibrancy pool,' which the children enjoyed. That's it."
Blue Horizon Hotel (China University of Petroleum)
"The room is cozy, the service is thoughtful, there are welcome fruits and small gifts, I especially like the small shell bottle, and there is also a gift when I check out. The most important thing is that the room can overlook the campus, I am very satisfied"
